you should start only SAPHostControl service and this service will start SAPHostExec service. Which user are used to start the services, for the SAPHostControl this should be .\sapadm and for the SAPHostExec this should be LocalSystem user. Please try to start SAPHostControl service and if possible please attach sapstartsrv.log and dev_saphostexec files.
Ensure also, that you start cmd.exe as an administartor when you install SAPHOSTAGENT.

Results will be compared between Old version & New version. If they are acceptable, then you can proceed doing the live system. If it requires any changes, then those settings (Configuration / Customization / Basis) should be done to make it acceptable or in line with desired process flow.
Apart from that, new features in EHP 6 version over your previous versions can be retrieved from
SAP Solution Browser. It requires S-User ID & Password.

I just created the same record in V_T5R05 for 99 and everything is ok!
Try on another system like IDES if you have. Otherwise check it for another country.

Configure release strategy as below -
Two release codes for X (Say 19) & Y (say 20)
Give authorisation User X - Rel code 19 and User Y - Rel code 20
Configure SES release strategy wherein SES can be either released by 19 or 20 (See Pic 1)
Maintain classification
Now create SES & release with User X having authorisation for rel code 19 only (See Pic 2).
And then try to un-release with User Ywith release code 20, it will not allow & will give error "Not possible to cancel release with code 20" (See Pic 2)
User Y can not un-release with release code 19 as he dont have authorisation for rel code 19.
Try this out in TEST system, hope this will help you.

This is Process industry with planning strategy 52 for our final product. We maintain PIR for our Finished goods. Our problem here is, due to insufficient component or lack of machine/labor shop-floor didn't produce as much qty as per the Sales Order's qty with specific delivery date. Planner expect, the sales person should adjust the SO delivery date based on material's next available date. Shop floor as well logistic person would like to know about the availability of the material for delivery.
We maintain planning strategy as 52 for header material
maintain PIR with req type as VSE
Availability check as 02
Requirement type in SO is KSVS
Our requirement is more similar to this

But, still not clear. Our Main intention here is, as per existing plan, shop floor couldn't execute their planing due to lack of machine/material or breakdown , etc. So, sales person should adjust the sales order delivery date as per the next available date by doing Re-Availability check in SO. What is the best practice to handle this scenario? Any suggestion please.

I would not suggest TELNET for upgrading an Entire Stack
Since , the core Components would require a restart of Java Stack it wont be feasible to use TELNET Tool.

Hi,
In sap standard you usually use the significantly changed event for ending the current flow and starting a new one. This can be controlled in MM customizing.
If your workflow and business process is way too custom, then you could see if you can either use existing events (just activate the event log and see what happens when you save a changed purchase order) or you can add an event to the change document EINKBELEG. Then using conditions with SWB_COND you can control the retriggering of the approval process.

We had the same issue after installing NWDI with CM Services scenario.
Solution:
On NWDI Development Configuration (CM Services), set SLD to local NWDI SLD url and not the central SLD. The Development Configuration in mention only exists only on the NWDI on not on the central SLD.

We have a requirement where the depreciation basis value is only part of the acquisition value (Luxury car depreciation in Australia). The luxury cars are only allowed to be depreciation up to 57.000 AUD and the base value for calculating the deprecaiton is also only 57.000 AUD.
Suppose the car was acquired for 70.000 AUD. The depreciation should be calculated only on 57.000 AUD.
Since the acquisition value is different for each car, I cannot work with the %-rate (57.000 AUD from 70.000 is a different %-rate, than 57.000 from 100.000 AUD) but have to use the user defined base value.

I entered the base value in the config and I think I made all my config steps. but the system is still calculating on the base of 70.000 AUD and I really don't have any idea any more, where to look at.
Do the SAP-Asset-Gurus have an idea.
