Hi Vignesh,

If you have access to Partner Portal there is a SAP B1 certification practice test available there.

Also, on the SAP Training and Education site there is a sample questionnaire.

Re: MS Access on SAPGUI 7.30

Hi Lynn,

The SAP Note 1442028 referenced by Matt Fraser has a good reference in it.

"

Desktop Office Integration (DOI)

Update: Up to and including patchlevel 6 of SAP GUI for  Windows 7.30 DOI did not support Office 64bit editions, only 32bit versions of Office were supported. As of patchlevel 7 of SAP GUI for Windows 7.30 DOI also supports the 64bit edition of Microsoft Office 2013.

To support the 64bit version of Microsoft Office, SAP GUI DOI is using the so-called "surrogate" approach (see below for more information). More specifically DOI is using the Windows standard surrogate called DLLHOST.EXE (the association between the surrogate DLL and the original file is done via the Windows registry). This means when you use the 32bit SAP GUI (there currently is
no 64bit SAP GUI version) and use DOI with 64bit of Microsoft Office, you will find a process DLLHOST.EXE also running in the task manager.

The RAR file you could not find in regards to my previous post on July 30, 2014 is a download from the SAP Note.  See image attachment.

Re: Trying to get 'link arrow' working from Crystal Reports

Hello Saado,

Your suggestion appears to be a static Hyperlink. I am interested in generating a dynamic Hyperlink.

For a better understanding of what I am attempting to do please see the YouTube video below (from 6:30), notice how part of the Hyperlink is static (refers to the module of interest, in my case A/R Credit Memos or ORIN), and part is dynamic (gives the desired DocNumber). Here a totext() function is required because it is necessary to convert the DocNumber to a string.

As I stated in my original post I am getting A/R Credit Memo # 26 opening, which implies that the processing is getting stuck due to a comma that is being introduced in the DocNum.

Kind Regards,

David

Please click the Actions Icon on top right, then open the notifications tab, here you can see the reason for rejection.

And I will give you a proof for this decision:

Re: Uk Payroll

It is very bad practise indeed and I am fine, if you want to quote me on this to argue with the client.

I know some orgs are very concerned about consultants seeing live payroll data, but if they want decent quality support, the very least they need to do is to provide a QS system, where the error can be reproduced. There are many tools on the market to copy test cases from prod to test, while scrambling names etc, so individuals can't be recognised. Giving support consultants that access will save them a lot of time and money. After all: SAP isn't providing an interactive log on payroll, because they were bored, but because they know it's a crucial tool.

All the best

Hi Suvankar,

So you want to connect the ERp system with WSDL also. I think SAP is using the IDOC approach from CRM side. Why are you not using the IDOCs to connect to HCI from ERP.

Consolidate with BICA

Hi SSM Experts!!

I have created a model in PAS, using a BICA Connection.

But when I try to check the Values of the measures with the dimensions (In the DataView),

it shows nothing.

When I check the measures, I can see a range of dates, what makes me think that it has already values, maybe without consolidating.

I want to know if there is any extra step to consolidate and view the values in PAS.

Thanks!!

Sandeep,

I think it's always advisable and advantageous to do the course in any module. You will gain actual application experience and knowledge. The certification further cements this.

Thanks kindly,

Field SPRAS is one of the key fields of this table so you could try "where spras = sy-langu" assuming you logon in English, or else "where spras = EN".

Production Planning Based on Reorder Points and MRP Requirements

I am sure that this question has been asked a ton of times. I have been using SAP for a year and have not found te best solution.

Lets say i have a manufactured part that i set a reorder point of 1,000,000pcs.

I also DO NOT want a planned order until the stock drops to 504,000pcs.

I am trying to find the correct MRP settings to look at the MRP requirements. Customer ORders, Deliveries, Production Orders and generate a planned order when the system reaches a net of 504,000pcs below reorder point.

I have tried ZB type and HB lot size V1 Type and HB lot Size . There must be a way this works.

Stock  - Customers Orders - Deliveries + Production Orders = Net requirements.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: PO price check and blocking

Hi,

PO creation for price with block status!

PO can be created automatically or directly (manually) where price in PO picks automatically from material master or condition record or price enter manually – why you cannot set approval process/release procedure for PO where each PO created are cross checked for releasing before sending to your vendor.PO is in blocked status for procurement until PO completely released.
