Hi Elisa, Have you downloaded and imported ESR object XI7_1_ARIBA_ONDEMAND_PURCHASEORDER_12s2_of_ariba.com.tpz  into SAP PI?

 

Once you imported, perform the steps mentioned in chapter 4 in the below mentioned guide.

 

I think you are referring different version of the guide. Please refer the guide available here

 

1) Go to https://connect.ariba.com/AC_Home_Page/

2) In the home page, Product Summary menu, choose On-Demand solution, there you can find Ariba Procure to Pay. Click on "Ariba Procure to Pay".

3)In the opened page, there is a chapter called Product documentation. Click on the topic "Ariba Procure-To-Pay User and Administration Documentation"

4)You can find 3 tabs: Go to Administration tab. In that, you find the chapter ERP Integration.

5)Refer the document "Ariba Procurement Solution Integration Guide for SAP" under the chapter "Integration with SAP".

If that is the final requirement, then COOL!!!

 

1. While creating the 3RD infoobject i.e. Z_EMP_EXT, Use the following settings

2. create a real time DTP for the same.

 

I have created a sample infoobject ZBILL_CAT and trying to load from 0BILL_CAT with a real time DTP.  Now data would be transferred real time

 

please let me know if there are any complications. I am happy to work on this

It is clear now Shyam

 

If this is in DEV, then you can try the following.

 

1. Delete data of 0COMP_CODE

2. Remove ZXYZ from compounding

3. Install cube and add ZXYZ to cube

4. add ZXYZ as compunding object to 0COMP_CODE

5. Run Full load

 

Is it not possible?

Hi,

Here are my 2 concerns with this.

Even though it is dev 0COMP_CODE would have been used in a lot of infoproviders.

Since the SIDs would already be referenced in all of those cubes and DSOs, it wouldnt allow me to delete any data that is still referenced. Which implies that I need to clean up all those DSOs and Infocubes first ..and 0COMP_CODE is a fairly common infoobject.. It means an impossible number of such infoproviders will need to be cleared which is a painful and impractical activity.

 

Secondly, removing a compounding and adding it again to 0COMP_CODE may deactivate all the infoproviders/TRFNs probably. I am not sure .. Even if it doesn't Issue 1 is still a bottleneck.

 

There has to be a better way to do this..

Are you looking for the feasibility?

 

One way is to access everything by using Portals

BW

e.g. DEV portal, QA Portal, PRD portal i.e

first logon to Portal and access respective environments from there.

second: Single logon should be enough for Bex broadcaster, ABAP browser, RRMX etc

This is in general about BW and ERP as well.

 

BPC and BO

As this is web based, the same is applicable.except crystal report. I believe when you sign on using web link, you can but not using Thick client from start menu--> programs.

 

HANA

Not sure about it. But you can read it from Master guide doc.

Thanks again . After quite a bit of trying I was able overcome many obstacles. The issue now is the the following. When I try to connect I get the following message " System locked; license is invalid or expired " . I sent a mail to las@sap.com , but there is no response. Can you guide me who would be able to provide this this file. Looks like it is a .txt file, which I need to install but the .txt file itself has to be provided. Any idea how to proceed ?

Hello experts,


i am creating multiprovider using Copa cubes ,sales open order cube ,sales deleveries cube.in this cubes material,ship to,customer,customer hierarchy ,product ,sales organization are characteristics using.

Now business want Batch code to be included from MCHA-CHARG.i have tracked CHARG field is coming in 2LIS_11_VAITM.

how do I know this field is coming from MCHA table.

please advice how can I add this field into multiprovider???

Hi Sandra,

 

Over a year ago, here was something posted on the product site. It was an unfinished framework and more focused on describing the ADM - not very useful for modelling current or future states. It was only there for a while and removed at some point.

 

I do have a copy I can share with you (I think I have it saved somewhere). I will try to locate it and send offline.

Hi Joeren,

 

I don't think you have done anything wrong. We have had the same issues, but intermittently and I am having a hard time nailing down the exact use case to consistently reproduce the bug. We have also had cases of the flip side happening - on repository connect, the synchronization dialog tells us there are local changes yet when we try to check in, the check in gets cancelled because the repository and library are the same. It is happening right now with an extension file that I am sharing via the library.

 

Anyway ..... I have come to the conclusion it is a bug and not something you are doing wrong.

I am also watching this discussion and eating popcorn... :-)

 

Use of such an FI class role will need a considerable amount of access from other classes to be usable, at least in display mode. This can only possibly be a "bolt on" to other roles with too much access but none-the-less still missing some FI access.

 

Or MM bolt-on role for the FI folks in emergencies?

 

It is possible to import objects by class in PFCG, but an FI_ALL role + necessary friends in other classes can only be done via SU24 -> so only via menu based roles with "where-used-lists" and not manual inserts.

LOGNAME=oraTST

USER=oraTST

Is this the right username ? Bear in mind that on Unix names are case sensitive.

Check the value for SAPREORG in the initTST.sap file located at /oracle/TST/112_64/dbs

SAP Library - SAP Database Guide: Oracle (BC-DB-ORA-DBA)

If there is no reference to that then I would create a symbolic link for the time being.

ln -s /oracle/TST/sapreorg /oracle/TST/112_64/sapreorg

Reagen,

 

It was a typo while pasting it on this site.

 

On the server its lower case:

 

LOGNAME=oratst

USER=oratst.

 

But you were right on the money with SAPDATA_HOME. I set this in the script and it now works like a charm from the crontab. The issue is now resolved.

Maintenance Order BUS2007 Event: Created and...

Hello experts, I have created a Workflow with the following steps:

 

For a Maintenance Order

 

- Trigger when BUS2007 Event:Created is reached

- User Decision: Approval/Rejected   Maintenance Order

 

Now, I need  if I choose Approval, the Maintenance Order is released automatically.

 

What do you do this?

The application name never comes up even after loading completely. We are on BI 4.1 and design studio 1.3. Haven't upgraded to the support package yet on 1.3
