I am transporting the objects form Dev to QA in below sequence.
InfoAreas & Catalogs
Infoobjects
Datasources
Infocubes..etc...
While transporting the First transport request " InfoAreas" ,I am getting below error, The Error is "Object directory Entry IOBJ 0TCTDTCLASS does not exist" and it displaying the errors for 5000 objects. Please help me to resolve the issue, if some one face the same issue.

The existing help itself is having the filter option on BWART. You can put 712 there and execute
Upon Pressing F4, you will get the popup for GRUND help --> Select the downarrow bar at top.
You will get the option to filter on BWART.
Sorry coding option also will not work.
In fact STTXT is not the field, because it is 40Char long. What you need is 4 character long field.
Search for such field in the LDB again and try again.

Hi PC,
We had the same issue for exclusion and this was GUI issue.
There is Exclusion and you Dont see that at all in your tab as its OLD SAP GUI.
Please Check your GUI Version and have the Latest 7.3 Version to use this functionality.

I would like to appreciate Sarath for bringing out ABAP solution for this issue which i suppose would work in this case , but I would like to go ahead with standard configuration available for validation in PS module.

That is it has an <?xml> and <Entry> tags.
You do not seem to be passing <Entry> tag.

I got solution for this issue. before I was scheduling for all users by Admin user ID and it doesn't work. Then I tried logging by each user and scheduled then it works. Wat we need to do is we have to schedule separately for each user with their login credential.

Unsure of your OS, but with a Windows system having multiple cores and running as a VM; Windows has the ability to under-clock you when you are not "busy" to save on power and will have VMware (possibly other virtualization software) follow suit.
So as it was explained to me with VMs and multiple cores rated at a higher clock speed; you actually receive a worse saps score, due to a small power setting set to balanced in Windows.
If you change the power settings to Max, Windows keeps your CPU speeds at the highest number for all cores. And could be the reason you are seeing a higher CPU count then response time.
It would be interesting if you could narrow down which diag server this is happening on?

In a main program I have a 20MB table that I write to a Shared Memory Table to process in 4 batches - each batch processing a quarter of data. Within each batch I keep track of processing error messages. I want to know how I can append the error messages back to a shared memory table once each batch finishes. It should be possible to lock the shared memory area for write until it's done and the other batches can just wait for a second if the Shared Memory Area is locked at the time. However, my biggest problem is that the Shared Memory Tables are cleared when I ATTACH_FOR_WRITE( ).
How can I apply changes to Shared Memory Tables without wiping all data contained?

It's not a correct thing to have two dates of the same type within the same validity, if you wish you can create new date types to store different dates or create a new record with new validity period of IT0041 and change the data of the data type in question while keeping history.
But I guess you'll never be able to store the same data type twice per single IT0041 record, in order to be able to help you more please share your business scenario.
