we are on SAP BI 7.0 patch 27, on AIX with a DB6 Database.
I have been compressing some infocubes, one of which was extremely large.
After 4 hours I have decided to cancel the compression.
My question is around the Fact tables, during the compression it was moving 60 Million records from F to E fact table.
After 4 hours, it had moved over 11 million records to the E Fact table, however I did not want the extracts or daily broadcasting to be affected and cancelled.
From reading other posts,I expected a rollback to occur, and the E Fact table would then be 0 records (the cube had never been compressed before).
However, when checking the table for the E Fact table, there is still the 11 million records appearing there.
My worry is that the query will read double for these 11 million records and thus report incorrect reports.
Does anyone have experience of this, and whether it is okay to have the 11 million records still in the E table after the compression was cancelled.
