BTW: the new url that generated by the Web App A servlet is like http://BOESERVER:8080/BOE/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?iDocID=9207&lsSp_indentify=0&apsuser=Administrator&apspassword=Password1&lsSp_chargeNumber=10551
wich show the report viewer to the client.
Is there anyway that I can return the report without using viewer just call something that will export the pdf to the client within the servlet?
But I need the report generating process is on the BOE server not within the WEB APP A, thanks.
To make me clear, I draw a application digram.
Thanks for your reply.
The thing is that the report runs from the BOE takes long time, and sometimes error happens.
My Application structer is : Client URL -----> Web APP A servlet (which will generate a BOE token using SDK and new URL points to BOE server) ------> BOE Server RPT File -------> Web Service which is running on Web APP B ---------> return the report to client.
When I monitor the BOE server performance, I found the memory is used a lot(around 5G) and never release util I restart the BOE server.
I found when the Web APP A servlet logon to the server and create the token, but there is no way to logoff, because I think if logoff then the token can not be used by the user. but where should I do the logoff?
Excellent. Thank you, both. The "working" report did have saved data. I changed that and watched it break on my other client pc. From your responses I know what to research and I have a clue about my options as identified by Ludek.
Thank you again,
Gary
I don't think sharing my code will be helpful, this is a bug in the viewer which can be seen by the stack trace.
Hello Don.
I found the problem!
Here: http://www.diademblogs.com/tag/crystal-report-with-plesk
First thing i've tried is to change the AppPool user (IWPD_66_domain.com) and set SYSTEM account. After that, the App Works!!
At this point, what would be the best way to configure this scenario?
Maybe come to the origininal AppPool user, and grant write permission on some folders?
Or do you think set NetWork Service to the AppPool is a good idea.
In any case, I am very grateful foryour help Don and Ludek!!
Hi RV,
I checked the relative link post for WebI which you posted earlier. For Dashboard the relative path setup would be the same way as explained in that post.
1. To Promote/transport the Dashboards between environments you will need to use LCM ( Promotion management) from CMC and create a job with the dashboards dependent objects. As a best practice it is not preferable to save directly to QA although there is nothing that stops you doing that.
2. To ensure proper communication between dashboards using opendoc just setting up the relative url would be enough as it will pickup the current server info in the runtime.
Thanks!!

Kannan,
There is also one more thing you might want to consider if you are using any kind of relational connection like oracle using TNS.ora files.
While you run from the client software in you machine it uses your local connections setup (e.g. TNS.ORA) however while you trying to see the data from Launchpad it essentially uses the connections (TNS.ORA) present in the BOE server which might point to different database with the same connection name.
Thanks!!

Hi Lee,
As you have already checked on restful installation and done some research. I have one suggestion if you have not checked it already try using a Admin user account and see if using that account fixes this.
I had see very similar (Although not exact same) issue earlier and that was related to Application level security setup for the userid.
Thanks!!
Durga
Hi Don.
In my local machine, i develop in Visual Studio.
I create a new site in the iis named "myname"
In Visual Studio i set the start path for debugging like this:
And in the file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts i create a new entry:
127.0.0.1 myname
I always work by this way. Never use the Visual Studio integrated web server.
I'm going to check the process monitor.
Thanks Don.
This note is just about the report RSORA811 which is a reorg program which has been deleted because it is not needed anymore and there is no replacement.
Regards,
Americo.
Do a partial DN and then put a delivery block on the SO. Note the issue with this is that you can still process the SO via VL01N, but not with the VL10* transactions.

Hi…
For material with price control "S" and price determination "3,
You should use “MR21” at the first of next month before you occur MM document of next month if you activate material ledger.
So, To change standard cost, It is good method that you use CK11N or CK40N to prevent
error releated to standard cost.
It is impossible to prevent the allocation of certain price
differences which we do not want to allocate back to material valuation.
Because SAP revaluate stock amount using modified standard cost,
SAP create FI document releated to stock revlauation.
T-code “MR21”, CK11N and CK40N revaluate stock amount of material with quantity. FI document always have stock account and price difference account.
Hi...
If you use actual costing and material price
determination 3, you can only change or release prices of marked cost estimates for a
material at the beginning of the period, as long as no goods movements, invoices, and so on
have been created for the material.
If you then try to carry out a price change, the system generates message C+811 or C+212.
HI,
I met a question about WBS system status:
WBS status is TECO,but when execute KKA2,It still show WBS status is REL,Just as Detachment
What’s the matter? How to solve it.
Tks!
Both the graphs are plotting the metric below '1' unit; just that the scale for EU/ml is different in both the cases. What is wrong?
Can you post a snapshot of the data and highlight the difference.

That is known issue in BO 3.1 base, i guess it is same for XI R2. It does not import recurring instances.
ACTION_ID : ID of the user action that triggered the event. Used
to group events that result from a single user action.
Please check the BO 4.0 admin guide for relations of the audit table. Section 31.2 for schema.
Is the LCMBIAR file created using BO 3.1? If that is the case, you cannot import using Promotion Managment. You have to use Upgrade Management to promote the biar file to 4.0
Please post your question in SAP Business Object Web Intelligence section for quick response.
