I don't think SAP is phasing out Crystal Reports, but they seem to keep it on a diet in terms of new features. While the user base (millions) probably guarantees that SAP will keep Crystal Reports alive and (slowly) improving, they might believe that it threatens sales of their more expensive enterprise-level BI solutions.

I checked the host file in destination system and the host entry for source and destination is there. But when I checked the host file in the source system, only the host entry for the source was there, destination host entry was not there in source system. Do we need to add the destination host entry in the source file as well.

In our organization, this functionality was implemented with the help of Smart Forms.
ie, Have a Print button in the UI screen. On click of that button, call a gateway service, which inturn calls a custom function module. Pass the Sales Order to it as URL parameter. From within the function module, get the sales order number and pass it to the sales order smart form function module with printing option.

I have a report in which I have a parameter date with range value.
I want to add a formula so that if parameter is blank then it should allow all records else it should allow records in range only.
Also any one parameter can be blank or both the parameters can be blank.

In the status profile you have add for three statuses the entrie C4AP. I'm not sure this is allowed. Can you test it with one filled in with C4AP?
And what are the entries in Transaction Control (click on the status to see Transaction Control items)? Is " Process RFC Approval" set on allowed?

additionaly, the error message says 'Customer NAME is from an EU country; enter a VAT registration number' and 'VAT Registration No.: Plausibility check failed'
I don't really understand this error because when i am creating a customer via transaction XD01 i do not have to provide a VAT registration number. So i don't really understand why this seems to be mandatory when using cmd_ei_api?

Employee time quota displays appear in R3 as shown below with no time quota texts. On ESS, the employee can see no leave quotas allocated to him.
What could be causing this and how do I solve it?

It's maintained manually on PA03 just when we are about to exit payroll and usually the client decides on this date. It looks up table T549Q-PABRJ and PABRP to set the date.
Once set no more master data changes are allowed on employees past this date. We usually use previous year date 01/01/2014 in order to stop employees from unnecessary retro's.

I hope there is already sort code in standard do_prepare_output itself. I checked in my system i can see the below code in do_prepare_output standard code.
prepare_toolbar( ).
sort( ).
gr_result_list_cnode->build_table( ).
If you have the same code in your standard do_prepare_output, just remove all your custom changes in sort method and do_prepare_output method.
Then pass the gv_sort_column with your custom field name and gv_sort_order with 'D' and then call the super class do_prepare_output.
gv_sort_column = 'Field name'
gv_sore_order = 'D'.
Call Super 'DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT'
iv_first_time = iv_first_time.

In QA32, I would like to do a result recording for a inspection lot which inspection type is 01.
When I finished result recording, I press the save button, and then pop-up a window for Q-Notification, then I filled some code group.
Finally, I press the Enter button, there was a error message "Vendor xxx does not exist".

Just wanted to ask if these are only the two important nodes when collecting and transporting an enhanced datasource?
I am currently transporting datasources from ECC DEV to ECC QAS. When reviewing my datasources in QAS, append structures were not transported.
- What I did here was to transport datasources from RSA6. I though it would carry all the changes made in the datasource but it was just the active datasources.
So I collected the datasources again in a new TR; collecting the requests only in one TR (as per discussions in SCN). First is re-activating the append structure; putting it in a new TR, then collecting the active datasource.
I am just having doubts if I am missing a step since the (Go To -> Object Directory Entry) is not letting me make a new transport inside the extract structure (double clicking the datasource; double clicking the extract structure; then object directory entry), thus, I am not able to collect the standard extract structure table (or is this because the datasource I am transporting is a standard one?).
