While there is not really a direct equivalent, there may be a way depending on the context.

If, as implied, you are looking for a max value within a given dimension (no other dimensions, filters that would affect the calculation context), you could get the value using analytic functions depending on your source DB. SQL Server and Oracle would support:

MAX(Date) OVER (PARTITION BY Dimension)

Date and Dimension would need to be the database field names. Note that this dimension would not be usable in the WHERE clause and would be not be treated as a measure in webi, no projection.

The MAX value would be repeated in every row of the result set.

Whomever pointed that out to you was apparently wrong.  My command file looks like:

::[BAT file example]

echo off

::

start /w C:\PBWorkspace\Test\testapp.exe

echo Returned Value is %errorlevel%

pause

::

C:\PBWorkspace\Test\testapp.exe

echo Returned Value is %errorlevel%

pause

::

:done

echo done.

In neither case do I see the "Press any key to continue . . . " until I have closed my application.

Hello,

I guess I don't understand quite the connection here (But it could be because its a new system)...

The above describes validations for ASN creations done by the supplier, but the issue is related to sending double receipts to SNC once we receive the ASN ( because of partials or reruning that program multiple times manually etc) - What validation is the connection for this issue, OR is it that there really isn't a connection and is the reason for your BADI implementation and changes to the inbound XML?

Hi Simona,

While I am aware that YOU know this. I just wanted to make sure EVERYONE does.  There are too many out there that leap before looking and knowledge like this can be dangerous in their hands.

Murat,

You need to set the index data for the COUNTER index first, then select the secondary index like you are trying to do.  It is just throwing that error because you have not yet selected the data for the parent COUNTER index.

I just tested again, yeah, it does work like my original batch file showed.

My local original test file used "start" instead of "start /wait", and I dropped the "start" command in the original example (since I just typed it from scratch in the editor).

I've been in & out of so many languages lately, I've forgotten how some of them behave.

The exitprocess statement still stands though. If it's being called, there's no way it can be wrong when it hits the actual return code within the OS.

2LIS_04_P_MATNR - Prob in activating the Datasource in R/3

Hello,

I am trying to activate datasource 2LIS_04_P_MATNR in r/3 in Tcode : rsa6/rsa5  and I am getting a warning that says

The even-numbered length of the DEC field I_DLZ_EX can lead to problems

I serached and found that note : 641744 is applicable.

The solution in the note says that there are 3 options to rectify this error as below:

If the field is not manipulated in the customer exit or elsewhere, no processing is required.
If you change the field, the following possible solutions are available:

  • You can make sure that the number of the characters does not increase after the manipulation.
  • If you can change the extract structure of the DataSource without affecting other scenarios (for example, if it was generated in transaction RSO2), you can increase the length of the DEC field (or CURR, QUAN) there to the next odd character (in the example above: from DEC 4 on DEC 5).
  • If neither of these solutions are possible, you can use a customer append that contains a relevant DEC field (or CURR, QUAN) with the next highest odd length. This can be used for the result of the calculations. This means that you do not have to manipulate the previous field.

I am opting the 3rd option i.e. to use an append structure with a field QUAN(in my case) that has next highest odd length

I am using the field BDMNG(length 13) from table RESB. The feild mentioned in the warning have length 12.

The problem is still occuring.

Am I able to understand the note correctly or am I missing something?

Can anyone help here?

Hello Alexander,

While looking at the help documentation, out of curiosity, I stumbled on the following link:

Defining Modification Actions - Internet Communication Manager (ICM) - SAP Library

I think you can get the remote IP, by modifying the incoming requests on the SAP Web dispatcher and introducing or replacing HTTP header fields that provide details of IP.

Not sure how it works, but it would be great if you can play around with this and let everyone know if works.

Good Luck.

Regards,

Siddhesh

Hi Nithi,

Inspection plan or group has 8 digit spaces, which can be populated by numbers, or digits or a combination of both. So the effective combination generates a huge range. On top of that each such inspection group will have 360 more GrC's which will further extend the unique combination.

Please let me know if you need any further inputs.

Thanks,

Arijit

After calculating the string did you try converting it using a date function?

Setting font based on input parameter

$

I would like to set the font of certain fields within my form based on the language. We have a table created that will store the language code and the font associated with the language. I am passing this value to the form, but I can't get my scripting correct to set the font to the value of the parameter. If I hard code the value, then the font changes as expected (this.font.typeface = "MS P Gothic"). Can someone please help me? Here is a sample of what I've tried:

FormCalc:

If (!$record.V_LANGU_FONT.rawValue.isNull) then

this.font.typeface = $record.V_LANGU_FONT.rawValue

endif

JavaScript:

if (!$record.V_LANGU_FONT.rawValue.isNull) {

this.font.typeface = $record.V_LANGU_FONT.rawValue;

{

Thanks!

Julie
