You may remember few years ago SOA has a lot of hype ... and then there was a famous article SOA was dead (mainly due to too much hype).
But in fact the underlying architecture / principles is more relevant than never (use may become a reality at a bigger scale).
As a customer I would like to review all the SAP Enterprise Services available as I am working on application hub concept connecting multiple systems (SAP and non SAP). I am a developer I am more an architect ... so do not want to go in any transaction inside a SAP system to discover all of them.
And here I have an issue to find relevant accurate information.
This website http://esworkplace.sap.com/ seems to be great but the content is not maintained anymore (yes there is a small statement at the bottom :
The content of this site represents the shipment situation in July 2011. For the latest documentation, see the application help of the respective products athttp://help.sap.com.
Not very customer centric message.
I must admit I do not know how to retrieve the similar information in the help website.
In the SAP wiki it seems the information is also not up to date.
I have searchec for more than 2 hours without finding relevant source of info .. so decided to use SDN as it could be more efficient.
I am not an expert in SOA, Enterprise Service and so on .....
Note : I would like to see in the description of the service the EnhPack level and the Swith to be activated.
Can somebody point me to a relevant source of information giving the overall picture with a "business centric" , "customer centric" description of the services available ?
Thanks.
Hi pankaj ,
Could you provide default trace when same issue occours ? NWA exception log is something diiferent . default trace have some more information about issue ( why and when it occured ) .

BO webi report based on BW query is returning very less data when
compared with BW query output.
BW flow is -
data source - > DSO -> Multiprovider - > Query
BO universe is created on the query and then a webi report is created
and its giving data for only one company code. We have removed limits
in number of rows in Universe connection parameters. But still it gives
only 6 rows. This BW report has lots of rows compared to this.
BW query has nearly 38 Characteristics and 1 key figure. Some
attributes are also displayed in the BW report. But BO returns only 6
rows. We also tried creating Universe / report from Multiprovider
directly. But that too gave same 6 rows. Please lets know if there is
any issue with DSO based universes
Any suggestion on this will help. Please let me know
BO version - BO XI 3.1 sp5
BW - SAP EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0, SAPKW70111
Hi All,
Sales order for customer is going for block for credit check in VKM1.
I checked in FD32 and checked that credit limit is not exceeded.
Please let me know why this is happening?
it is a discussion in the space " Getting Started with SCN "
But this space does not list discussions http://scn.sap.com/community/getting-started/content
just blogs and documents. the space is probably restricted for discussions.
It would be good to have those discussions excluded from the search results
Hi Vijay,
I completely agreed with Jurgen and Bijay, It's not a good practice to close the PO's based on the Document date, it causes inconsistency to Purchasing reports.
Request the buyer to confirm the accurate quantity and change the quantity in PO accordingly. otherwise figure out the list of PO’s which needs to close manually and do the MASS closure.

Hi Manu,
In our case PO is account assigned and having acct *** cat. as F. Can you tell me how we can put stock into block stock?
Regarding valuation type, we are already using the same as Damage and Repair. But in this scenario it won't suffice the purpose.

Hi Daniel,
Try the following:
In the mapping section of the transformation file:
*MAPPING
F_Account=C_Account+ Cost Center
SIGNEDDATA=amount
Please include the defaults for other dimensions.
In the conversion section of the transformation file
*Conversion
F_Account=<Conversion File name and path>
In the conversion file

Bom dia Felix,
Só para ter o histórico na questão.
O que encontrou e como foi resolvido.
Desde já agradecemos.

You might have found out it yourself but just for the sake of completeness I'm adding to my response. You can certainly set HTTP headers when using the HTTP client to call an URL but in Web Dynpro ABAP you don't have access to the request object (at least not through public APIs) hence you can't parse the HTTP headers. The only feasible solution is to implement a custom ICF handler, parse the HTTP headers in it and call the receiving WDA with URL parameters (or some other data sharing functionality).
