KPIs where sap is a leader in any insurance market in asia ?

while technology is great....where are the drivers for a multimillion dollar implementation of core insurance and SAP

quite interesting to develop the taiwan market with the investment in insurance products from sap However not sure thats enough.....this market requires something more than core technology.

it requires a sense of excitement that comes with human interaction...hence an insurance gaming solution....might just be the ticket

ill come back with something, let me know what you think ?

Further,

I looked at the rejected list and it says

"head dimension count and column count are not matched"

I tried to check for spaces etc but cannot find it.

Possibly:

Someone might have changed security structure on users in Enterprise (denied inherited!). Also, check if this user can save reports directly from Crystal reports designer to Enterprise. In these cases, user should have Add/Edit objects rights to the folder.
It could be illusion. i.e once she has clicked on published/ overwrite sometimes SAP GUI screen freezes. SAP GUI window may become non-responding. If this is the time when she is trying to execute report then nothing will happen! If it takes lot of time to save the report to Enterprise (which sometimes is normal) then she could feel that she is not able to execute any report.
Machine issue! You can have her login into SAP GUI from any other machine and confirm the same.

Hi,

We have a scenario where we have HANA Calculation Views exposed in BW through CompositeProviders. One CV to One CP. On top of these CPs we create BEx queries. Our queries must contain Cost Centre Hierarchies and performance is quite slow, about 5 seconds for maybe 20.000 records. In contrast, if we remove the Cost Centre Hierarchy from the BEx Query, the performance jumps and the results are displayed in less than 1 second. I know that not all the hierarchy related options are pushed to HANA DB level yet, but what would be the strategy on improving the performance here. Is there any way to make it run quicker?

We are on BW 7.4 SP10 + HANA SPS08

We tried materializing intermediate results, but it didn't help.

We are not using price on C4C side, directlly from ERP so no Price Lists maintained on C4C. We are integrating through PI/PO.

There is no detail about the webservice, only it talks about that creates the first part but not the second line of your screenshot. Maybe this is another of the inconsistencies of the guide? (I have found really plenty of things which lack of detailed information or with wrong sequences and I am not getting quick responses from Support which is putting customer on a difficult situation)

Would you please share a detailed document? (in case you have one)

I've seen those blogs already, but unfortunately, we can't apply all of the points as we are using the BW on HANA and not BI Platform as a base.

For some reason with BW on HANA, the datasources are executed in sequence opposed to HANA or BIP, when they can be executed in parallel. This what drastically improves the performance, alas it's not available in BW on HANA scenario

I tried manually setting the ports but that did not help.

I installed fiddler and saw this error when I started Crystal Reports 2013 :

SecureClientPipeDirect failed: System.IO.IOException Unable to read data from the transport connection: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine. < An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine on pipe to (CN=sales.liveperson.net, O=DO_NOT_TRUST, OU=Created by

I need to do more analysis on this, but thought I would share this error in case it triggered something that I need to change. I am connecting to the Enterprise server from Crystal Reports 2013.

Checked my accounts in OBYC, for some reason I had to add an entry to PRD in order to post even though there should be no price difference. There was no tax on the PO, and no account assigned to the appropriate transaction in OB40.

Hi,

Actually i'm working activated HCM services in SAP Fiori. My SAP Netweaver is 7.04.

I found a guide (attached file), that describe all ODataservice that must be activated.

In my system i found all this Odata services and i've added, also UI5 services throw transaction SICF.

the error occurs when i displayed my page Fiori. The HCM services:

-Leave request. -Timesheet

-Benefits -Paystubs.

Refers to others Odata services. I want to know why this happens? is cause don't apply the correct component?.

In so many of blogs i have seen writing the SAP Gateway server (Front end component), SAP Gateway Backend Server ( Backend component + ECC Business Suite). but i am always confused Backend server means it is an ECC system. But later i have understand that by looking at the deployment options. Gateway server itself splitting into two servers as front end and back end server. But i have few questions related to Deployment option1 ( Hub Deployment with Service Development in the SAP Business Suite Back end ) and Deployment option2 (Hub deployment with Service Development in the SAP Gateway Hub).

Here is my following SAP Front End Server(Gateway)

Here is my following SAP Backend Server ( Backend Comp+ SAP ECC)

Having the GW_FND component in both servers, It means that is this called as deployment (( Hub Deployment with Service Development in the SAP Business Suite Back end ))

What configurations need to be in SAP Front end server & SAP Back end Server to develop the Data Model.

When i develop the service in Back End server and try to register , I am unable to register register giving the error as System alias doesn't exist. but i have created the system Alias.

If i create the system alias in back end server, do i need to create the system alias for back end server or front end server. Please clarify.

Hub deployment with Service Development in the SAP Gateway Hub).

In case if i want to use the Front end server Gateway hub as both Front end and back end component of Gateway server as Central hub to connect the SAP Business suite.

How to create data model in SAP Gateway server with with the data structure exist in back end server.

Hi,

I have an Advanced DSO loaded with about 50 million records and I would like to update a subset of these records with new values.

I am going to maintain a table that will have Field Names, Original Value and New Value. The number of fields can be dynamic (Usually 2 or 3).

I was thinking I would be able to build a dynamic SQL or SQLScript from this table and update the records in the DSO Table.

My concern is would this be a problem if the DSO is flagged for activation.

Would updating the DSO with SQL/SQLScript be a problem if it is flagged for activation? (SID Issues?)
I'm guessing yes, but looking to hear from others
Would it work fine if the DSO was not flagged for activation?
Would it be better to just update the PSA Table instead (If we use one)?

Hi,

You are using the Cost Estimate extractor, can you check the amounts in ECC table CKIS for few months, Perhaps your tables have the same value for all months.
