Dear Rahul,
Thank you for help me again when creating sales order in ECC it gets the sale order qty on the planning book mapping works fine so I am not sure whether the sales order type mapping is done separately or its a part of it as its already getting qty details but not the order number details. Its for our GATP Product allocation planning book with incoming orders qty (AEMENGE - APO Key figure ). Please inform if I am missing something or inform if you need more details.

The image is just a sample example, I tried by passing the link with a variables during run time. The reference screen object points to a text field. At run time the values gets passed to the htmlviewer dynamcially.
But the issue is when i try with other link having the variables , the html viewer is not loading the webpage at when the page is loaded dynamically.

the variable values are passed in the placeholders dynamically. The html viewer needs to load the values when the page loads. So i believe there is not need of refresh html viewer.

Loading selection data to planning book default to change mode - want still in display mode:
Dear Experts,
I am loading my selection data in the planning book it defaults to change mode so most of the time creates problem when there is a sequential sales order creation in ECC it pops message its locked by user "userxxxx" so its not performing GATP check.
So just like to know how to load selection data to planning book but still check in display mode unless manually click on the change icon - Any settings in planning book or custom / security involvement needed ?

Custom data types to mask fields
Hi collegues,
I am developing a web application that shows KPIs around dates, months, another time periods extracted from generated time data
and fields that need custom visualization format.
Now we are facing some issues trying to format that data types,
For example:
We have in our tables the field CALMONTH with the format MMYYYY.
And we want to format it like MM.YYYYfor the web application, like BW does.
We achieve formatting regular dates because it is a DATE data type, but CALMONTH is NVARCHAR(6).
Is there a way to create custom data types to format certain fields? It would be very useful.
Or another workaround?

Checking Rule Error in MD04
Hello Experts,
We have been working on analyzing "Material Shortage error" in production orders.
Checking rule maintained in OPJK is PP with required parameters selected.
When I go to MD04 -->Environment--> ATP Quantities, I see the checking rule as BO instead of PP.
My question if instead of BO shouldn't we see PP and is BO checking rule being considered for ATP?

Transfer Budget to the next fiscal year
Hi Gurus,
We want to carry forward The O/P with their Budget to the next fiscal year, Then I expected that Budget linked commitment must be simustaneously transferred with commitment amount when we ran FMJ2 transaction, but the Availability Control send us a messsage with "Budget Exceeded".
,
We just want to know what is the correct way to carry forward commintments and how can I do to the FMJ2 Works correctly.
Maybe is important to say We use Classic Budgeting.
If somebody have more info about it. I'll be grateful for your comments or suggestions.

Hi Tamas,
As always, thank you so much for the prompt response.
I am only trying to have the script navigate to the basic view of va01 in personas (not any of the flavors built). When I use the script, it focuses on the mandatory fields and makes me enter each input (as shown in the snap shot marked by Red boxes) and then I have to press enter on each mandatory field as compared to going into the same basic order entry view from the path: VA01-> enter order type, sales org details and hit enter (screen 2)-> here in this order entry screen, I am allowed to enter all the fields and then hit enter just once with no restrictions.
Attached are the snap shots of the complete screen. Sorry about the previous attachments. Hope these are clear.

I am already running in Visual Studio-debug mode via msvsmon and as such can see all lines of code (minus no-source code assemblies such as CR code) execute and inspect all variables as needed. What more could I possibly get out of running the process in console mode? I am not opposed to doing this, I just need a push.

I have not spoken w/ Microsoft about any of this. I have researched the exception by name and number, as well as looked for information on HResult number and ErrorCode number information found stuffed away in the innards of the exception.

Estamos com uma dúvida em relação ao processo de criação do fornecedor via BP (business partner).
Verificamos que quando criamos o BP com o tipo "vendor fi" o mesmo armazena o código do fornecedor do ECC na tabela BC001.
Queríamos entender o motivo dos outros tipos não armazenarem os códigos na BC001.

I don't think you need the modify statement.
Table ltr_fields is a reference to an internal table of reference fields. When you change lr_fields->* the table already points to the modified entry.
To add an entry to the table you need to do something like this:
data lr_my_fields type ref to data.
"creates a reference to a structure that looks like the structure lr_fields->* points to.
create data lr_my_fields like lr_fields->*
"do what you need to do to lr_my_fields->*
append lr_my_fields->* to ltr_fields->*
free lr_my_fields.

Roland makes a relevant point when he talks about "contract first" - which of course is exactly NOT what generating a service from an existing backend function in the way you have is. That is inside-out development as opposed to outside-in. (BTW - SE80 has support for outside-in development, as does SAP NW Gateway, so maybe you might like to look at that sometime?)
Anyway, you might like to take a look at a blog post I did years ago called Another way to leverage ABAP Web Services. Ignore the main subject of this post - the key thing is that when generating a web service in this way some Simple Transformations are created that actually do the transformation of ABAP data to XML and vice versa. So this would logically mean that is where the <item> tag is hardcoded.
In theory you could replace the relevant transformation with your own.
