Re: Quota accrual not coming upto 5 decimals
The actual accrual as well as entitlement has 5 decimals. This can be seen in PT50 txn, and in IT 2006.
However, when you get the current balance for an abs quota type using HRS=FRxxC for quota type xx in a time eval PCR, the hours are truncated to 2 decimals, since the TIP has only 2 decimals for the hours (ANZHL field).
Because of such truncation, calculations in payroll first multiply by 100,000 (constant GENAUin T511K), then after all calculations are completed, divide by the same constant to restore the decimals to normal.

Suman - This issue had to do with a version mismatch between Client Tools and the Dashboard Tool. We had recently updated our DEV Server to 4.1 SP6 and Client Tools to 4.1 SP6 but the Dashboard Tools reamined at SP2. Publishing the universe from SP6 IDT and trying to access with Dashboard Tools SP2 was the problem. Updating the Dashboard Tools to SP6 RESOLVED the issue. Thanks!

Hi Maximilian,
If your HANA view does not contain a Language field, then it does not make sense to flag Language-dependent Texts in the Characteristic.
Please check if you can add Language to the HANA view if the it is available in the source data. If not, then you could add a constant value to Language (e.g. 'EN') or decide to unflagging Language-dependent Texts in the Characteristic. I would advice the latter since otherwise you might miss texts for users logging on in another language than English.

Re: SLT and HANA deleting archived data
That's pretty much correct. Load/Replication operations can only work on data that is online.
Another solution in this specific case would be to start replication again without dropping the target table in HANA, preserving what is already there. You can do this with the info I posted in this thread How to replicate ERP Ztable data into HANA existing Ztable using SLT?
I haven't tried it directly, but seems as if this should work. I am unsure on the behavior for existing data, if it will be an update or insert.
Otherwise, as you mention you'd have to reload from archive - not a simple task.

Can't Load Crystal Reports data on CMC
Dears,
I've a user that supposed to be a log on user for crystal reports on CMC as it is configured on the reporting folder>database configuration.
every-time I need to view the data on any report i got the message "The report you requested requires further information."
However i did an import for the users and roles of SAP ECC as this case is to connect directly on SAP ECC and it went smoothly with the roles and users.
I grant authorization to that user on (1) application>crystal reports, (2) Folders>Crystal reports documents.
But still face the above message when trying to refresh the report.
as a workaround i did setup of crystal reports on my local machine so I can re-export the reports with my new username and password to CMC.
But what i found is that when i open a report through SAP credentials I found nothing exist on server.
While if i access the repository explorer through the administrator i can see the crystal reports easily but can't refresh report through SAP credentials although that i can access through ECC with the same credentials.
In conclusion, I need crystal reports to connect to ECC.

Splitting of monthly demand plan

Is there a way that we can split the monthly demand into weekly or daily buckets. I had , when we creating the demand plan ,there is an option to fix as monthly or weekly basis. Once created the demand forecast is possible to change?

Re: Release strategy for legacy POs - MM
You can look at introducing a new characteristic CEKKO-BEDAT - purchase order date into your classification for the release class.This way you can segregate depending on go-live date if all you other parameters such as doc type, etc remain the same.
You should still have at least a one-step release for these legacy POs. It is likely that some of your legacy POs are going through date, text changes etc but it is also likely that someone could update prices, qty etc on these POs. Without a checkpoint you expose yourself to this risk.
Unless you have it as a process step to updates internal texts, no one should be updating legacy POs w/o a release strategy - these are valid legal documents that the vendor has agreed to and subject to the same protocols as a normal PO.

Business Warehouse Question
I have a data flow of a dso and then it updates a cube. in my dso, i have 2 fields
material | amount
First time i load to dso, my data looks like this
material | amount
AAA | 100
It is updated in active and change log table
then i run delta to my cube and i have another entry in cube as well
material | amount
AAA | 100
then second day amount is changed to 200
i load and my active table is 200 now, but my change log is like this:
material | record mode | amount
AAA | N | 100
AAA | NOTHING | 200
AAA | X | -100
When i do load to my cube from dso, it is like this in cube
material | amount
AAA | 100
AAA | 100
My questions are:
1. when i did a delta load second time to update amount from 100 to 200 in dso, does system read by the keys what is already there for amount and negate it and then update the updated value which is 200?
2. Why did my cube not got updated like this?
material | amount
AAA | 100
AAA | -100
AAA | 200

Bret: Your assumption is correct. The second and subsequent runs execute extremely quickly because the plan is in cache.
Also, the stored procedure has a number of complex joins along with temporary table usage resulting in long compilation times and deferred compilation scenarios.
Mark & Bret: As per your suggestions, I created 2 ISQL sessions; one to run Mark's query and the other to run Bret's stacktrace every 10 seconds on the 1st SPID. I repeated this twice in quick succession. The first one took 24 minutes to run. The second one took under 1 second!
The ASE is running a 'threaded kernel' model. Is there something I can configure at the server level to alter/control this behavior?

Authentication issues calling java servlet from an XS Application in HCP
Hi Experts.
I am calling from an XS Application a java servlet via AJAX request but I am getting the "User Not Logged-in" error.
Do you know what cookies, credentials, tokens I would have to pass as parameter at the AJAX request header/body in order that the java servlet could inherit the SAML authentication of the XS App ?
