BPA Job Submit Routine

Hi Experts,

 

I have one job in BPA which is submitted at 2 AM everyday. In case the previous day's job, runs beyond 2 AM current day, BPA schedules the next job run for the next day, It skips current day's run.

 

Is there any setting with which this can be prevented. I am thinking of using events. Please advise.

Hello Chandra,

 

For the first question, if you do not want to assign controller then in report and analytics section there is a report Firefighter log summary report. In this report you will get list of all FFID sessions and if click on Session details you can get details of logs performed in that session.

 

As for table GRACFFREPMAPP, this stores information of Action performed by FFID. There are two fields FFLOG_ID and ACTION_ID. FFLOG_ID is the session id that can be fetched from table GRACFFLOG and ACTION_ID is the action performed by FFID and using this FFID transaction log details can be fetched from GRACACTUSAGE table.

Hello,

 

     I could not find the clear explanation about collective order confirmation through SAP help portal, but from my testing, it seems collective order confirmation must follow the sequence from suborder to leading order.

     It seems there is no normal configuration to solve this problem.

     Does SAP provide any user exits or BADIs to fulfil this business requirements?

This kind of issue generally happenes as there is no plan for the relaitve cost center/activity type/fiscal year. Can you double check it?

SRM SC Source of Supply HDR Description Not Updated

Hello All,

 

In the Source of Supply tab of SRM SC we have added a custom column to the SOS Table in WD View layout (V_DODC_SC_I_SOS) in the WD Component (/SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_SC_I_SOS) and mapped the context node attribute (SOS.HDR_DESCRIPTION). This Context Node attribute is SAP provided standard field. We need to use this field in the screen.

 

In the WDDOMODIFYVIEW Method we have created a post exit to populate this value and triggering the update using -

 

wd_this->mo_dodm_sc_i_sos->/sapsrm/if_cll_mapper~update( ).

 

As such in the debugging mode we are able to see the value in the context node attribute but not displaying in the screen. This seem to be an issue with the Context Node / Attribute update after its being changed.

 

Any pointers are appreciated.

My master data valid from 01.01.2014.

I plan KP26 in 10.2015

Then I run KP06 in 10.2015 and I had error as above

Hi Vitaly,

 

I installed SP6 (version now shows 14.1.6.1702).

 

In Options->Database, I have tables, system tables & stored procedures selected (and unchecked Perform Query Asynchronously based on another thread I saw).

 

Create new connection, I select Salesforce.com and enter my username & password (leaving the analytic checkbox unchecked) and now I get a very short list of Stored Procedures ONLY. I don't see an option for Tables or Stored Procedures like I did in the past, I just see www.salesforce.com -> CompanyName -> list of first 50 (?) stored procedures and that's it. I'm clearly missing a good portion of them and now don't see a list of tables.

 

If I try to create a new system DSN with the ODBC driver then try to have CR use that ODBC connection, it prompts for the username and password then completely crashes (in CR 2013, 2011 & XI2).

 

any other ideas?

 

EDIT: I changed some settings on the system DSN setup and got it working but same issue in only getting stored procedures in CR 2013. However, using the same dsn in CR XI R2, it works as expected by giving me tables & stored procedures (all of them). So, in CR XI R2 the system dsn works as expected with the random settings I changed but in CR 2013 there's no way to get it working...I'll keep trying more settings tomorrow and follow up. However, I just realized neither of these options actually pulls data from the database, just returns no data or gives the error that the table doesn't exist. Oh the joys of CR & Salesforce!

Unable to login BO Design Studio

Hi Guru's,

 

We just implemented Design Studio on BO server by installing BO add-on on BO Server. After successful installation of Design Studio add-on, we installed the Design Studio Client 1.5 and tried to login with the credentials of ECC system which logical system was defined in the BO CMC Authentication. But it was throwing error message "Failed while trying to log on user. RFC error: "Number:000 (USER_OR_PASSWORD_INCORRECT)"".

 

Could anyone faced this kind of issue?

Can you advice why/how you concluded that there is no POSC? I mean, what is the setting which indicates that there is no POSC?

 

Now, my objective is to use Yard management for receiving goods.

If I do not use TU, there will be no Yard management. Hence I am attaching the inbound delivery in EWM to the TU. I am trying to unload this TU. I have already attached the error message while unloading the stock from the TU.

 

Can you please advice if my understanding is not correct?

Is it not possible to use Yard management in this scenario?

Please you can try the same by yourself.


Create the Vendor using BAPI and pass COMMIT= 'space' if exist.

 

after generating the vendor call the rollback and check standard Table.

If entry is generated means system already write the Commit work in the BAPI.

 

If entry is not there, you can try the same thing with the second bapi.

Hello Rashi Grover,

 

So you are saying that the info cube just refers to the info object(BW_CUST) when the transaction data is being updated to it by using the BW_CUST value( or say customer id). In simple terms ,

consider the following sales order being updated to an Sales Infocube.

 

Customer Id      OrderQty          TotalAmt      

1011                    100                   $ 500

1024                    150                   $ 600 

 

So the infocube stores the OrderQty and TotalAmt in the fact table and in the customer dimension table( it stores the SID of the customer 1011 and 1024?) . This means it just refers to customer info object by storing the SID values and for the key figures it actually stores the values ?
