The above product is created manually through my custom program reading all the data from ECC system and the logsys maintained in the product is ECC logsys.

I'm trying to open SampleModel.edmx that comes with LinqSample project, which in turns comes as a sample with SQLA 16. I receive the following message: "Unable to cast object of type 'iAnywhere.Data.SQLAnywhere.SAProviderServices' to type 'System.Data.Common.DBProviderServices'". The problem exists in both Visual Studio 2013 and 2015, and after I followed all installation instructions. Any advice is very much welcome.

Declarations inside MODULE ... ENDMODULE are always global.
If you want to eliminate SLIN warning, you must create a FORM and call it inside module. All data declarations must be inside FORM.
Does anyone know if only secWinAD is possible? I tested secEnterprise without success.

a few days ago we changed the portal desktop for SAP NetWeaver Portal (7.4 SP11) to the "Ajax-Standardmodus Portal-Desktop", changed the LAFservice to "LESS" and implemented a new design.
The problem we got now is that everytime we want to use the BEx Web Analyzer a warning appears which says:

kindly check whether portalapp.xml file is there in your project or not. If there is no portalapp.xml file exists in your project, then masthead will not be visible under the portal applications in portal. Reimport the war file once again and check if in case there is no portalapp.xml file.

What you want can not be achieved by segment E1WPB04, as a workaround you can consider one of the following suggestions,
- use header taxes with E1WPB07 (TAXCODE, TAXVALUE)
- use E1WPB03 and enter tax amount as condition item
- use WPUUMS IDoc type instead of WPUBON, if possible.

Hi,
I created a contract and assigned a Owner BP. I completed my posting to FI. Now after 3 months I have a scenario where my owner BP is changing.
I assigned New Owner BP and created a New Posting term also by restricting the term for Old BP
I also tried creating new condition for new term yet my Financial Accounts are not impacted for reversing the proportionate amount for Old BP and charging to New BP.
Can someone guide me the ideal process.

Dear Experts,
Kindly help me with the ABAP code for enhancing two fields in the datasource. I have added them in the append sturcture of the datasource.
The logic would be to enhance it with 2 objects - one will have partner vendor (LIFNR) for partner function (PARVW) - OA and another PI. Both are available in the table WYT3 - Partner functions.
Please let me know the code to do so as my ABAP skills are still developing.

I am new to Workflow, I got an issue in already developed workflow as the Approval process is working fine and the same status(APPROVED) is updating in the custom table, Where as the Rejection status is not updating in the custom table.
I have tried to execute the BO method directly, the rejection method updating the Z table successfully but through work flow its not getting updated...
Please suggest any ideas to fix the issue. Thanks in advance..

see screenshot: the call of HRWPC_GET_PATHROOTS comes back with sy-subrc = 1, so there are noo root objects selected ! with this check-statement the program ends.
but until now i have no idea why fm is coming back with sy-subrc = 1

You can activate multiple form 16 if you want a separate form 16 for each employee for the tenure in each company code. You can go through SAP note 500871 which explains this concept as well as how to enable it.
