Hi Rusana

   First of all you should understand the concept and use of costing variant at different object level cost calculation as well as to calculate standard cost/plan cost.

   1. PPC1  is used when we calculate standard cost in CK11N/CK40N to update cost at costing view 2 in material master

   2. PREM is used when we calculate preliminary cost at Cost Collector level

   3. PPP3 is used to calculate actual cost at Cost collector that means when you post GI/Activity through Back Flash system calculate cost for actual posting based on PPP3

    Basically when we calculate standard cost at CK11N/CK40N no actual cost is required to be calculate..so only PPC1 is used to calculate Plan/Standard cost

   But when we are calculation object level costing always a preliminary cost is calculated..you may call it estimated cost of plan production qty and Actual cost for actual consumption of goods & activity.So 2 costing variant are used at every object level cost calculation.

   In your case..PREM for preliminary cost and PPP3 for Actual cost at cost collector level

   I think this will clarify your question

     Can anyone  guide me how to setup the following requirement

      Basis Working : Monday - Friday (8:00 hrs)

          We want to setup the system to log the overtime of an employee to Time in Lieu.

         Employee works 8 hrs per day as standard. Employee  overtime  threshols is 4 hrs /day.  Employee overtime to be calculated after the threshold time

      For example: if an employee works  14 hrs for the day and log the time sheet for the total 14 hrs  as actual worked.

           system has to calculate in the way as  ( 8+ 4 +2) hrs= 14hrs

          8 hrs --> the  actual / standard work  / per day

          4 hrs --> the overtime

         2 hrs-->  the overtime  to be added the time in lieu account

Hi Chandan, i have already tried. It will not help because this FM does not have factory calendar, hence it will not exclude the weekends. 

                            After EHP 7 upgrade we are facing an unusual fact that if any person parks a document using tcode mir7 , system suggests that amount to be parked is Rs 15334.67 and the user parks the document with the same amount for posting. Then the user posting the same document is not able to do so if he tries to round off the amount to next rupee. E.g. 15334.67 round ed off to 15335.

System gives an error   ' Carry forward level cannot be transferred from invoice reference.'.

Now if the person parking the document rounds off the same document,parks with Rs 15335 and send it for posting. The person allowed for posting is able to post the same document using MIR6. Now the issue is why the person posting is not able to round off the parked document as it is under his authority that rounding off has to be done or not.

Every time that user has to request person parking the document to round off the documents so that he is able to post the document.

Is SAP note 1930285 - Determining the carryforward level      to do anything with this issue.

Dear gurus,

I have configure the VF31 for the bulk printing and its working fine, but only issue is this that lets say if user select 10 billing document and press print job button, a window is populate that giving you the printer related information, you you have to select print button at that window, but if you select 10 billing document for print you have to select print button in the window 10 time.

How can i overcome this situation, so that even 100 billing document system only ask one time to press print button, with thanks.

Hello All,

I am using HANA trail account for learning purpose. However, I am getting error messages "error in WebSocket Connection to backend hcp" and "WebSocket connection for debugging is closed" when the application is launched.

The overall health of my instance says it is "Crtical". And in the Metrics Details the Metric "HANA XS Availability" is critical. Because of this, my application is not working correctly.

The same issue persists even when the instance is deleted and a new one is created.

Can anyone guide me on how to resolve this issue?
