Simplifying my calculation it seems that the problem is that I am using RunningSum on the detailed sheet for the calculation. I am wondering if there is a way to create alternate calculation which is less dependent on the context?

I understand your requierment, but it's not always logic. For example if you are under Unix system you could make a NFS Mount between two system. And in ABAP you just have to use Open Dataset statement.
You could send or request data using a RFC function
You could create a WebService
You could use FTP
and all the Network/System solutions

SPLIT functionality in String
Hello Gurus,
I have a fine in Unix path and am picking the file using OPEN DATA SET and converting into internal table. While doing conversion I am Splitting the string with # delimiter into work area. Everything working fine but for last field in the file am getting #. how to remove that delimiter.
For example, my file looks like in Unix as below
Vendor#Plant#Text1#Text2#Text3#
123#111#SAP#SAP1#SAP2#
321#111#text1#text2#text3#
after OPEN DATA SET am getting the string into an internal table as below
Vendor Plant Text1 Text2 Text3#
123 111 SAP SAP1 SAP2#
321 111 text1 text2 text3#
For the last Column # is not removing so while updating the data into tables then # also updating with data.
Kindly suggest me how to remove the # after Text3, SAP2 and text3...

check customizing; check how you have started the import (there are some flags for phrase import showing up in the screen) (check once againb: Phrase Import - Basic Data and Tools (EHS-BD) - SAP Library)
Principly: anything depends more or less on the phrase export. Here you have as "external" keys (like H02)
Looking on tthe other screenshot: system can not creae the key; for keys therd is a number range etc,
Anx this number ranges (internal keys; externaly keys) is may be not set up properly.
Please explain: is this a one and only action? if not: then please use ALE for distrbution of phrases (but as well here you ned to look for phrase customizing). For ongong purposes ALE is a better tool to distribute phrases and content of them

We used this functionality (system - PO 7.4 SP09) and it worked well.
Can you please provide information regarding:
- If you execute the SQL query in question directly in the remote database, does it get completed successfully or do you get any error?
- What is the error you get in PO?
Can you please provide screenshots of a message mapping (mapping to a target field representing the column accessed using TO_CHAR() function) and configuration of a JDBC communication channel?
It would also be helpful if you temporarily enable logging of SQL statements in your JDBC channel and capture exact SQL queries which are sent to the remote database (refer to usage of the additional parameter "logSQLStatement" described in a SAP Note 801367) to ensure that the SQL query is passed to a database as expected and is not corrupted.

the "incompleteness" schema seems to be wrong. This schema is "sales" schema (in combinaiton with DG). An the top your DG schemas are in my opinion wrong. Normally nobody ! wil check for mixed loading on sales level but only on delivery (or shipment/transport level); if a check is done on sales you should get a "warning" in DG and not an error
What I do not understand 100%: in the automatic process it does not work but in manual process it does?
Therefore: please explain you DG schemas used and your inceompletness set up (link of SAP SD and EHS DG)

Hello Saravana,
1. For connections initiated by the SAP ERP system to SAP HCI, you need to add the root certificate from SAP HCI in the Trust Manager (STRUST) transaction in your ERP system.[ In this case SAP HCC is not required since the handshake happens with Certification Exchange ]
2. For connections initiated by SAP HCI to the SAP ERP system, the root certificate from your SAP ERP system needs to be added in the keystore in your SAP HCI tenant. This should have been taken care of during the initial setup phase by the Cloud Operations team.This requires SAP HCC if client don’t want to expose their IP address out of their Private Network.SAP HCC allocates Virtual Address which is internally mapped to SAP ERP.
As per my understanding SAP ERP -->SAP HCI- -> SF or any SAP Owned SaaS doesn’t require SAP HCC, but SF-->SAP HCI-->SAP ERP[ On Premise ] requires SAP HCC in between SAP HCI and SAP ERP.

Re: Absence are deducted with negative quotas
hi Corriveau,
"No further deduction" has been checked and under "Deduction Priority" Quota types has been selected as Priority1.
No where Negative deductions are checked for any absence quotas. System is accepting negative quotas which is not there in configuration.
Can you please guide me here.

this is the Spanish public sector add-on, its weird you have installed it.... You won't need anything from this packet so best it's to take it off. Why was it installed in the first place?
Your error message is within a class that belong to it (hrpbse) so removing the add-on is likely to remove your error.
spanish public sector solution well is only for public sector entities here in Spain that behave very differently than the private sector.
