Hi All,
What are the use case scenarios and the difference between master data vs document type of user defined tables? both can link the row level sub table so what's the difference in a practical scenario?

Maybe simply don't maintain this text in the other sales areas? Then there will be nothing to pop up...
Create new text type and label it "for X only", instruct the users how to use it. It's not fool-proof but a cheap and simple solution.
You could also look into adding authorization check for the texts in question.

the reason why the name of the table is like that is because of the fully qualified name as mentioned by Lucas. I do not think you can specify the design time object without the fully qualified name. Even if you create the table using hdbtable or hdbdd (CDS) your table name will always contain the fully qualified name. if you created the table as a run time object then 1) you wont have the fully qualified name 2) you cant transport it as a design time object as you want

Yes it does as it does for reports created prior - all the way to CR 9 with pretty good confidence. Older reports than that...

How to filter according the dropdownlist ?

Well. what ever font is used the report will need to be installed on the computer. As for how best to deploy Azalea, please check their website (not trying to push you off, but they are the experts on their font).

Do I understand that correctly; If you change something in this mask, it creates an approval request for the changes?
Could it be that a request is already pending for those users and that's why it can't create another one, because you have a "from/to date" somewhere in the workflow?
And I didn't mean you should remove the manager field, but the manager value for this identity to see, if you can save the changes then.

Hi Amit, thanks for the quick response and the solution. it really helped but one more issue is, if the ID has only positive amounts then the new column (in your screenshot) should be blank or empty.
Also, if the account has more than one -ve line items, and one +ve line item, the Column B is updated with same value (for -ve line item) as columns A
please see the attached screenshot.

Is the SP 16 runtime installed on that computer? I'd use the applicable MSI (32 / 64 bit) as it has all the dependencies.

Re: Crystal Reports 2008 Crash
CR 2008 is not supported on WIN 10. My recommendation would be to try CR 2013. An eval can be downloaded from here:
SME Free Trials | SME Software | SAP
And it is side by side compatible with CR 2008.

BSP with HTML Or HTMLB
Hello Experts,
We have some of CRM Adobe Forms and we wanted to convert them to Web-based forms because Adobe issues with Browsers.
We would like to use regular HTML than HTMLB for the rich look and in future if we go to SAPUI5 based development we can reuse most of the development objects in the newer environments.
What kind of issues we may encounter if we go with HTML, can you please share knowledge on this?
This link has some of the issues listed and we agree with More development time using HTML (bcz of CSS, Java Script), Not Uniform look across the organization and mainly Java Script issues with different/older browsers. Are we missing any?

yes, i need method which is triggered when approval process started for a user.
basically i need method which is called when work item added for user (for ex cart created and waiting for his/her approval ) and work item deleted(rejected cart or cart deleted or forwarded the cart) for that user.
i cant go with bbp_doc_save_badi as this badi will trigger multiple times..

need to maintain status profile name for those old documents in CRM_JSTO table. and modify the user status entry in CRM_JEST table. it should solve your issue.
Kapil is correct. The same issue occurs when you change status in the user status profile too as the E000* is assigned by the system like GUID.
About Kapil 1, I do not think you will be able to use the old document because system will check status profile and status and raises error.
About 2, it may not work if you have huge amount of old documents. My solution has the same problem. So perhaps a report is necessary for this necessary.
About 3, I think my solution simply specifies yours.

Warranty date gets populated in EKKO-GWLDT.
So you could do a report with EKBE & EKKO if you plant to check dates after doing GR.
