Hello Experts..

 

I am trying to customize Netweaver 7.3 Masthead file(Masthead.jsp) through NWDS. I have searched on SDN and found so many links but non of them resolve the issues.

It says that we do not need to create EAR files for the Imported WAR file. I have followed exactly the same steps but after assigning needed JAR files to Lib folder and configuring Build Path, error didn't removed.

 

Does I am missing some thing here.

AFP - Masthead Modification

 

It says that we need to create EAR files for the uploaded WAR file. But needed Jar files are not said here.

 

My doubts are:

1. Do we need to create EAR file for the project in NWDS.

2. Which are the Needed JAR files required to remove the error of Project and Masthead.jsp file.

 

Can any one tell me the exact process to edit the Masthead and needed JAR files to remove the error....

If you guys have any document...Please share with us..It will be highly appreciated.

I want to update 3 custom tables such that if any one fails than all will roll back.

Should I use local update task or call function module in update task.

I have a small doubt on manual bank reco. How will I take care of those incorrect entries passed by bank erroneously  and then subsequently reversed ?

Hi,

 

SAP has given the BC sets for configurtion for Best Practices scenarios for various industry.Anyways if there is anothey one is having BDC or LSMW for configuration, then there is no need of consultants in SAP.

 

I am unable to understand why you want BDC for configuration if really  creat your BC sets and use them.

Dear Moazzam,

 

You are such a respectable person and always have to be 200% cautious while using words(Instead of Common*--you use some other words like System in built Behaviour/ hard coded Etc...)

 

I dont want to comment much on your reply because--while talking in Public forums we have to be more cautious & cannot use the words what ever comes to our mind& Finally telling "to you" not to anybody.

 

Note: The positive thing here is i really appreciate the Helping nature of Yours--But Presentation has to be modified further--Pl dont mind.

Got an update from SAP, the SUP 2.2 trial was discontinued by SAP, they are now working on SMP 3 trial. SMP 3 trial will be available soon.

Go to MRKO,

Just select these options.

Then enter your vendor in Vendor field and press execute.

You can find list of consignment along with material document number and invoice document number.

If everything is configured properly, then, anyway the tasks with the posting level 10 may cause the problem with the rounding.

I cant share the names of the clients here, but the project I am working in right now is an automotive major and they also use the same approach. Earlier also I have seen this approach and this is one of the approaches recommended by SAP

 

When you use a single BA for IGAAP postings and simply run report at Company level, it will show you report for the whole company and not just IGAAP in my opinion.. Then you will have to add one more BA for US GAAP postings.. Moreover, BAs are not flexible enough and not scalable incase your future requirements change

Please attach snapshot of assigned role and its functions - meanwhile check with basis team if Excel is installed on destination server and you have sufficient roles to perform the operation.

Thanks Juerg for your reply. If that case i believe sale and repurchase is the only option. Do you have any better alternative solution then this ?
