Freight in Info record Vs Frieight on PO header level
Hi,
I have a requirement..
So, far we used Freight only at Item level in PO. FRA1/FRB1/FRC1 used for this.. They are manual conditions per the pricing procedure.
Now, we need freight condition available on the PO header level as well..
For this, FRA2/FRB2/FRC2 has been maintained as Group and Header level condition in this respective Condition type config and included in the pricing procedure as manual conditions.
Some business units even maintain Freight in the Info records.
Requirement is that, in case of raising POs for those materials that have an info record and freight maintained as a condition, the header condition should over ride the info record freight condition.
Possible?

Decision Step in web dynpro screen.
Hi All,
I have requirement of when double clicks on the work item the custom webdynpro screen needs to open and in the screen i have to provide approve/reject. So that user can edit and approve/reject the specification. If user clicks the approve how to handle the workflow.
Currently i have provided webdynpro screen as attachment in work item. The work item is user decision step once clicks on the attachment it will be routed to webdynpro screen. The problem here is users need to do more clicks one for to open the work item and one for to open the webdynpro screen and one for the save data and one for the come back to work item after that needs click on approve/reject.
Explanation:
In the Work item screen (Workflow), I am giving some link where I can access a webdynpro screen.
Here I have created a Tcode for the Webdynpro screen and I am calling the Tcode by that link which I placed under the Workitem screen.
Now, if user makes respective changes in the webdynpro screen hitting that link, he/she has to get back to the previous screen. (ie. Workitem screen).
Please suggest how to work on this.

Schedule line proposed quantity for dependent material is more then required
Hi,
I have a BOM which consist of 4 subcontacting material as items.
When I run MRP, it creates schedule lines for the Header item, and all the dependent requirements are generated for child items.
However, the MRP proposed quantity of the child item is more than it should be required.
I have done manual calculation as well.
Product X
Child 1 MRP proposed - 144 Actual cal culation through BOM --- 111
Child 2
Child 3
Child 4
What could be the possibilities. I have checked for scrap % in bom items, but its not maintained. Is LOT size calculation is the reason for this variance?

- Check the quantity maintained in BOM
- Check if any fixed lot size is used. In case o fixed lot size irrespective of the requirement qty poposals will be generated for fixed qty.

Please try setting up the condition records properly. Iessa has already suggested the path to maintain the output condition records. When you double click on the codtion records, you will reach a screen where you can provide details of the output device. also, please make sure that you check the 'print immediately' checkbox. However, the print immediately option would not have any direct bearing on the condition record being picked automatically. It only tells the system whether the print is to be generated immediately or spooled for later printing.
I also suggest that you get your basis team to check your printer settings. I have experienced such issues in the past and they were related to the output device.

Ok, I feel I should clarify a bit since I would think the same upon this request.
First, the program allows only to modify fixed values, not other attributes such as lenght or type.
This reduces tremendously the risks, narrowing them to the deletion or description change of values already used in table records or referenced to in programs, and this is clearfully explained upon running the program with a big warning.
Secondly, the use case is for a specific standard domain, which was modified (repaired) years ago to add fixed values, and is used almost as a table nowadays. I receive monthly requests to add or change values on it, so I though why the heck couldn't the functional analyst update the values himself as he does for regular customizing tables (that's another risk reducer, not ANY user would run the program). It won't even reach quality client, it is to be used in dev only and domain changes to be transported as usual.
I could even restrict the program to only that specific domain, or disallow deletion of values, but I wanted to keep it pretty generic should a similar need arise later.
Now, to the problem at hand, the only workaround I thought of so far is exactly the same you suggest Jamie (create and use an RFC enabled wrapper of RS_CORR_INSERT with my username entered in the destination), and it seems I'll end up trying just that. Any other ideas are welcomed.
I could always program an enhancement at the beginning of DEVELOPER_CHECK to leave if my program is in the call stack, but that seems a bit extreme

Thanks for suggestion's. Just wanted to get some more clarification on alert part.
When you say throw exception if size is not equals to 0, then how exactly we can raise the alerts. One way could be not defining any receiver for that condition, but in this case the exception would always say "InterfaceDetermination did not yield any actual interface".
Can you please elaborate on exception and alert part?
