I have a Powerbuilder application with reports (.pbl file and data windows), there is a need to auto print some of the reports, out of the WCF.
Is this possible? If so, any guidance? Unfortunately I have no PB Experience.
Thanks Ajay. Where do I see these actual costs on the Sales Order item after settling the PP order? Is it on a condition type? or while delivery the PGI posts these values to COGS?
Also, do I have to carry out any Sales Order Costing in this case? I believe this non-valuated as per SAP's recommendation we do not need to. But kindly confirm.
Please advise.
Raj

Is there a way to set a context limit for each connection not to take up all the CPU or MEM. We have users using Anlaytical view and fired of queries that didn't make sense and basically asked for all the data in HANA and which in turn took up all the CPU and MEM. There should be a way to control this.
Below is the query they ran basically asked for all the FI documents which there are about 1.3B records and no where clause. This brought HANA to it's Knees peaked the CPU to 97% for hours and hours and mem consumption extremly high almost 90% also.

Hi Ram,
without sounding like a devil's advocate, I'm not sure why you would want to limit your FI users to query less than, in your case 1.3B, all of BSEG records?
thx,
greg
btw, how much RAM do you have to work with?
Update the Oracle Instant Client to version 11G. I still see you have 10G version.
Stop SAP and Oracle. Update the Oracle Instant Client. Restart SUM and repeat the phase.
If that doesn't help then update the dbsl part of the kernel or the complete kernel for the upgrade kernel location /usr/sap/PLL/SUM/abap/exe

Hi Ram,
I know that you asked about basis options and as far as I know there's no such restriction but I let other colleagues to complement.
I'm curious about which frontend fired this statment.
As a modeler/developer I'd say that there's a big mistake on SQL you posted which is these computations:
Cast ( TO_DATE("_SYS_BIC"."fi-gl-lineitems/AN_BKPF_BSEG"."BUDAT", 'YYYYMMDD') as DATE),
You have three options to reduce the workload:
1) add on your model mandatory input parameters or variables depending of the front-end.
2) provide it in SAP Date as it's inside database and handle it on frontend. Currently if your front end filter the provided date in date format it will also need compute 100% of database to filter later.
3) add on modeling an time dimension table and create a join linking with date. The exposed date in date format will came from this dimension table.

update the kernel in the ../abap/exe/ directory. There was a issue in kernel which caused this issue.
Hello Dear Abhishek,
have a look at the following article, I hope it will help you.
BAPI_PO_CREATE1 - 'Please maintain services or limits' error
Good Luck, if it will help you then please award the answer as useful. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
incoming RFC call is started everytime in a dialog work process on the destination system (if it's SAP system), I suppose that's the reason why you get the timeout dump - because on dialog work process there is the same timeout limit as for the "other" dialog users, see related parameter on destination system (name of the parameter is in the dump - rdisp/max_wprun_time).
Why are you starting the data gabbing by RFC, is it really distant system? If you take it from top view, it's really strange to keep the call alive for e.g. 20 minutes, maybe you should change application design if it is possible (request data in packages, grab data on destination system in background process and send them by rfc..)...
Note that the processing time can be "zeroed" by commit work.

Hi Phil,
You need to call the GetBusinessObject method of the SAPbobCOM Company object to instantiate the item object:
Dim cmp as SAPbobsCOM.Company Dim vItem as SAPbobsCOM.Items Set cmp = New SAPbobsCOM.Company ' Code goes here to set connection properties and connect to SBO ... ' Once connected, instantiate your item Set vItem = cmp.GetBusinessObject(oItems) ' Set UserFields vItem.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_MyField").Value = myVal

Dear Experts,
We have faced this issue twice in same instance (02) in last 2 months. The instance 02 gateway becomes unreachable and impacts performance system-wide. To quickly fix the issue, we need to restart this instance. Following are the system details and log info:
OS: AIX 6.1
DB: Oracle 11g
ECC6.0 EHP5
HA configured
SSO configured
CI & DB on one server, 3 apps on different server
Attached are the gateway trace and workprocess trace files. Attaching dev_w30 trace file also because this work process was the one which goes in the hang state first then rest of the work process, look at the time in following screenshot (1426 sec):
Following is a SM21 screenshot:
No short dumps were generated during the issue.
Let me know if further details are required.
Appreciate your time and help in advance!
Thanks,
Hardeep
Thank you for the response. Could you please suggest some best training centers in Hyderabad?
Dear Leandro,
As per your suggest, I checked the original purchasing orders and the currency used all are local currency USD, Please see below shotscreen from system.
The first 2 line items generate within FI module can be posted via FBV0 batch input
Transaction currency: USD
Local Currency: USD
Exchange Rate: Blank
The other line items generated in MM module via T-code MIR7 could not be posted via FBV0 batch input.
Transaction currency: USD
Local Currency: USD
Exchange Rate: 1
I don't think the exchange rate place will have some impact on the posting, but really can not find any other discrepancy to make the error.
Thanks and regards,
Annika
