Backflush: If you are doing Goods issue through backflush during confirmation if stock of the issue materials is not available then errors will be generated and system will post this error's to COGI where some one has to do the analysis and correct the error's. Instead of doing all this activty in OPK4 confirmation parameters for the combination of Plant and Order ype - In individual Entry General Tab - Under Error Handling/Logs if you check Goods Movement and Termination of Goods of Incorrect Goods Movement then confirmation will not be posted if errors are available due to stock issues for backflush materials. System will pop to rectify the issues.
Availability Check:
In Scope of Check (OPJJ) against checking group and checking rule together specify the scope of the check as given below
- which elements relevant to MRP (inward goods movements/outward goods movements) are taken into account (for example, purchase requisition, purchase order, planned order)
- which stock categories are taken into account
- whether replenishment lead time is checked
- which inward goods movements and which outward goods movements are to be included in the availability check
- which stocks are to be included in the availability check
- whether the check should take into account the replenishment lead time
- whether the availability should always be checked at plant level.
Checking Control: (OPJK)
Here for the combnation of Plnt, Order type material availability check during order creation and order release can be configured.Here based on the material availability check config release of the order can be rejected if stock of the materials is not available.
