I agree with Kiran that you can't do a CALL SCREEN from a WDA application. This pretty much defeats the whole purpose of WDA development.

Ideally, you should re-design your application to use WDA concepts and split the business logic from the UI logic (MVC design pattern).

Now, having said that, it could take you a very long time to re-design all of the good work you did in traditional ABAP. So, it is possible to call an ITS version of the ABAP transaction. To do so, you need to create an Object-Based Navigatin (OBN) reference to the ITS transaction. You can call OBN from within WDA methods. The OBN reference then triggers the corresponding object which could be a transaction, another WDA, etc. Keep in mind though that OBN will be asynchronous, meaning that the OBN target will be opened in a new window.

Hello,

Have you considered MDG-Supplier? It is a relatively new ABAP-based tool that can be used to create and approve suppliers/vendors before they are actually created in the vendor table. That would better long-term solution for your organization.

Meanwhile, I believe the solution Karthikeyan provided above should work on the short-term.

My Problem is If I query sap hana from .net for 10 million records to generate excel sheet.

Performance wise its not good.

So I want a hana procedure to export result set to exccel to a location.

I tried to install 'Eclipse IDe for Java EE Developers' as was mentioned in SAP forum (http://scn.sap.com/thread/3249251) . I tried to upgrade my SAP hana studio to Version 1.0.7 so it will suit to SAPUI5 version 1.00.6 both downloaded from SAP site (https://hanadeveditionsapicl.hana.ondemand.com/hanadevedition/) .

Even though SAPUI5 installation failed with the same message error :

do you have another system where you could rebuilt the vendor case, just to check if this issue is limited to one environment only?

HHi Praveen,

All sub modules which you have mentioned above are common than payroll Since payroll is country specific . Please check wether Qatar has country specific SAP payroll if not you have to use international driver and have to incorporate all statutory payments and deduction Via PCR or custom enhancement .

other than payroll,all other modules are common which you have to customise according to the clients requirement.

Apologies for the late reply. Please check the following screenshots:

In the above screenshot, I do not have the authority to change/edit. The functional consultant has entered F150_BE_DUNN_01 in the form.

When I click on Sample printout it opens the sapscript. But when the functional guy enter zF150_BE_DUNN_01 (customized), it says either it does not exist or not defined.

Customized sapscript has been transported to the Qual server and it is active as I can see in se71.

Why it is not triggering customized sapscript?

Update to Latest Patch of GUI. Its Patch 7.
Check if your MS Office is working fine or not. If any error install it.
If still error persists. run program RSCPSETEDITOR.

Deactivate SAPscript and Smart Form boxes

And click in Activate button.

redo the same and reactivate it.

Hi Experts,

My requirement is to send pdf attachment to vendor at the time of release purchase order. And also activate version management. I have done upto send mail attachment, but how to activate version management since it activates after taking print. But they wont require to print.

I have to create only spool request at the time of release but not print, i tried with output type but not succeed. how do i solve this please let me know, kindly guide me.

Hi,

It depends on your requirement like from which SLoc you want the picking to be carried out. Whether the material will be always in packed form ? or do you want to pick the materials in a non - HU managed Sloc and perform packing as a separate step in delivery.

Whether it is applicable for only certain materials / customers ?

Based on the above you can define rules for your SLoc determination such as MALA/RETA etc. and accordingly the Sloc will be determined for picking in the delivery.

Hello Experts,

At the moment, I've HR - Business Partner integration activated. Therefore, when I hire a new employee on HR module, HR1001 table is updated with a new entry regarding to the relation between CP and BP objects.

However, now I have to disconnect this integration and delete all BP objects that where automatically created as a result of the scenario above. To do so, I've followed the following steps:

1. I ran report BUPA_TEST_DELETE to delete the required BP objects;

2. I changed some integration switches on T77S0 as the following:

HRALX HRAC --> X to ' '

HRALX PBPHR --> CREATE to OFF

But I think that something is missing because when I go to HRP1001 table, the relationship between CP and BP objects (that I deleted on step 1) still remain. I can reverse this inconsistency but to do so, I've to turn back on the integration switches and then run report HRALXSYNC, which is not what I want.

Can anyone help me out here?

Thank you very much for your detailed response. I really appreciate it.

As the system is already productive, changing fiscal year variants/versions mean undertaking a huge risk to the system as per my knowledge. SAP note 1175751 states that the only fix to this will be to get SAP custom development which is not feasible for us right now. So the statistical depreciation will have to be manually calculated outside SAP for now.
