SAP Web Dispatcher : Maintenance mode/HTTPS - ICMERR-EMAINTENANCE.html
Hello,
My systems :
SAP ECC6 EhP7
SAP Web Dispatcher 7.40 Patch numer 62.
I would like to switch SWD in maintenance mode in order to use customer error page (ICMERR-EMAINTENANCE.html).
To do that, I have added icm/HTTP/error_templ_path parameter in SWD instance profile and restarted it.
Then, I copy my customer error page (ICMERR-EMAINTENANCE.html) in directory defined by icm/HTTP/error_templ_path parameter.
Users have to access system with HTTPS connection.
After switching SWD into maintenance mode, HTTPS connection always work !!! No error message (neither the default nor custo).
I can acces my environnement.
Customer error page only appears when connecting with HTTP.....but users dont' have to user it.

Hi Anil,
The Special GL indicator can be seen in FBKP.
These are available at Chart of Account level.
If both your company codes are in same chart of accounts then it can be used by both the company code.
You have to try and use validation for your requirement.

with SP6, you can add a "deviating table name" to each table. In transaction LTRS, choose your configuration and add your table under "Table Settings". In the details view you find a tab "Table Settings" where you can enter the deviating table name (which is then the name the table has in the target system).

Change default value "Notes changed as of" in FSCM process receivables
Hello,
In the Notes view of FSCM Process Receivable (transaction UDM_SUPERVISOR) , the notes are showed. Default, the date in top of the screen, at "Notes changed as of", is a month ago.
This field is editable, so older Notes can be showed as well.
Our users always have to change this field, because they always want to see older notes.
Is it possible to change the default of one month ago?

Design Studio behaviour according to query read mode property
How does Design studio behave according to the Read Mode property set here in SAP : (RSRT transaction, query properties) :
It seems like Business Objects tools (Analysis, Webi, …) don’t behave in the same way according to these properties, even if they all use the BICS protocol. What is Design Studio behavior?
In fact, I’ve tested 2 queries, both with many free characteristics (because I swap dimensions in my charts thanks to scripting), but
- one with default values on CALMONTH (12 last months),
- one with a customer exit variable that I set with the exact same values (12 last months),
when analysing the behaviour in RSRT I see that choosing the H option will add a where clause to the 1st query, “SQL” seems then identical in
both cases, and statistics are the same (see below). With A option, the 1st query statistics are worse and the 2nd one statistics stay the same.
So knowing if Design Studio takes this option into account is important.
At the beginning, I was expecting that Design Studio would retrieve more data cells with the default values query (all months are retrieved and some kind of local filter is applied to display only the 12 last months) than with the variable query (only the 12 last months areretrieved, no need to apply any additional filter, and if the end user wants some other months then the script has to update the variable, and waiting time would then be worse). I guess it could be true with read mode option set to A.
I know that some answers have been given on this subject, saying that even updating only default values thanks to the filter panel was implying a roundtrip to the back end, but I can only understand this statement if H option is taken into account by Design Studio…
I would like to better understand exactly what is Design Studio behaviour, and if there is any benefit to use variables to set queries filters (filter panel usage is not straightforward then), or if default values and native filter panel usage is ok as it has the exact same consequences on data volumes retrieved, back end roundtrips and query performances.
I guess that the answer depends on the capacity Design Studio has or not to take the Read Mode option into account.

Dashboard - Unable to access external data (BW connection)
Hello everyone
I have observed below error when dashboard is opened.
We are using SAP Dashboard 4.0 SP5 (patch 2) and it uses BW connection for its data source (SAP NW connection). Dashboard is run on SAP portal and we are not using BO enterprise.
We noticed this error recently after doing an BW SPS upgrade to BW 7.3 SP11.
I tried opening the query via Business Explorer and Query designer and it succeeded but via dashboard. We used 9 query connection for the dashboard and all of them provide the same result.
I presume that it might be due this but do we have any SAP notes or any solution already for this problem? I looked around SCN forums and couldn't find it. Can anyone help me on this please ?

Infact, when you are in transaction SQVI you can select menu QuickView--> Additional function--> you can choose between 3 values (Adjust, Generate program and Display report name).

Behind the user status , you have system status assigned. You can check in Status profile otherwise you can check in CRMD_ORDER transaction in GUI. You can go to status tab for header and Item to see the system status is set to "Released" or not.
Normally from service request , Service order is generated which would be available in resource planning once released. Is there any specific reason for doing resource planning at service request level itself ?
