hi Kaul Arun,

 

you can activated your own javascript and html in a formula field after you've activated Pass-Through HTML.

 

as Abhilash mentioned above, the Text Interpretation has a limited number of html tags that it supports. however, with pass-through activation that limit is not applicable. please note though that there is no support for the code that you write in the formula once you've done this.

 

please see the Users Guide at the webelements page on how to activate pass-through html. webelements is javascript and html written into crystal's Custom Functions feature.

 

in fact, if you're trying to create embedded controls for your report, you may find what you're looking for in the webelements function library already.

Hi friends,

 

My server Intelligence Agent (SIA) can not start because the database service "SQLAnywhereForBI" can't start also. Inside the database log file i got the following error :

 

"Unable to start the database - BI4_CMS.log is not a valid transaction log"

Sybase ASE database administration - isql commands and a graphical application

Hello,

 

I installed yesterday a SAP Solution Manager in Windows Server 2012 (R2) with SAP Sybase ASE database version 16.0.

 

I´m newest in SAP Sybase ASE database and I don´t know how to do the administration tasks in this type of database!

 

I made the download of DBA Guide - SAP BS on SAP Sybase AS Enterprise guide but I don´t see any explanation about isql and which isql commands exist and how to I use them... and everything else! I can not even do the basics, for example I don´t know how to start and stop the sybase database with the isql application... even how to log in on sybase... I don´t know anything about it!

 

Other question is also about the SAP Sybase ASE database administration... is there anygraphicalsoftwareenvironmentthat allowsthe administrationof the same like for example the SQL Server Management Studio in MS SQL Server database) and the Oracle Enterprise Administration in Oracle DB environment...!? 

 

Can you help me please?

Goto Transaction /SAPAPO/TSCUBE and do the required selection for transferring data from infocube to planning area.

Do keyfigure Assignments properly for the expected results.

Hi Sara,

 

parameters setup at end user personalization (EUP) may in your case overide your expected settings.

Make sure in SPRO/EUP/ custom tab - is set to  visable and try again,

Hello Experts,

 

 

I have a query regarding Product Allocation procedure in GATP!!

 

I would like to generate CVC for product allocations through Infocube.

 

But,while generating CVC's it should check for conditions like whether any product allocation procedure is active or not in product master!!!

 

Is there any user exit or option of generating based on this requirement or any challenges!!!

Description of Tagging condition in WCD document.

Dear Experts,

 

While we are creating Work clearance Document & selecting Tagging condition, short text of Tagging condition display in drop-down as per screenshot no.1.

 

 

 

When we select tagging condition from drop-down, short text didn't appear(screen shot no.2). Is there any way that we can populate short text in the switching screen?

Can i connect to SAP BO universes with the standard edition of SAP Lumira Desktop? Or is there any other edition which i need for this connectivity?

LSO: IIS Content Server swap - issue with repository explorer

Hi Experts,

 

We have following situation in place:

Our current content server for learning content is pretty old and unreliable, thus we need to swap it with a new machine.

We already have setup a server and copied all content from old server using robocopy tool.

 

Old server was running with IIS 6.0 (WebDAV protocol was used to communicate)

New server is IIS 7.5 (also WebDAV used for communication with Repository Explorer)

 

After changing the setup in lso_customize_c to point to the new content server we get following situation:

 

1. Content Player is reporting that it can succesfully access the content.

2. Courses are getting played without glitch.

3. Repository Explorer cannot see the courses as released in SAP - no version or learning net information is available - we cannot download any course from master repository (only directory structure gets downloaded), however uploading new courses works fine - the version info is stored, and learning nets are published.

 

Backend system remained completely unchanged, along with publisher database. Content server swap included only the physical machine with the files.

Did any of you had similar experience and have an idea how to deal with it?

 

Repository Explorer Copy Master Repository function is not an option for us - we have over 1,5 TB learning data to be copied.
