maybe this will help - I once had a locking problem with an asynchronous step where I called program with a submit and return - the return statement caused the lock not to be removed and the terminating event could not be executed.
if not: if you try to restart the workflow manually what happens? or if you try locking the workflow for execution and unlocking it?

Re: Record count from 500 tables
Well, may be you can create a table (T_TABLES) with just one column (C_TAB_NAME). Insert your 500 table names to this table and then set up a join with M_CS_TABLES and T_TABLES on table_name = t_tab_name and get the output.
You can always modify the records from T_TABLES and get the output.

Hi,
Please note that the transaction variant is screen specific and hence you need to do the same settings for each screen.
Go to SHD0 transaction and enter the transaction code and the variant created and click on "edit with processing" button. Now, go to the second screen as well and deactivate the variant in the second screen also.

While i am doing CIN excise invoice (J1IIBN), i am getting below error, i am using only indian client.
Messge no. f5702
Diagnosis:
A BALANCE HAS OCCURED IN TRANSECTION CURRENCY 'INR" WITH THE FOLLOWING DETAILS:
EXCHANGE RATE"00", AMOUNT 360,00' AND CURRENCY KEY IN INR
THE DATA IN THE APPLICATION CURRENCY WERE TRANSFERED FROM CALLING THE APPLICATION
SYSTEM RESPONSE:
YOUR DATA CANNOT BE PROCESSED IN FI
PROCEDURE:
THE ERROR IS PROBABLE IN THE CALLING THE APPLICATION.
Please help me out!!

BSP-Error while adding a "Save-Button" to a View
Dear Community,
I have created a UI-Component which contains a Window and a View. I already connected the view to the window. What I'm trying now is to add a "Save-Button" to save the input of the view. This is my Structure:

Here are my Questions
1) What exactly do i need to put into parameter "id" and "table" within the configCellerator? My window and view are connected and when it opens there should be the "Save-Button".
2) When I select "Test" my browser opens but I cannot see the preview, intead I get this exeption. Is my code wrong or where is my mistake?

Production Order Operation QTY confirmation
Hello PP Experts,
I have scenario of Migrated Production Orders from Legacy(old ERP) to SAP where i want to confirm the Operation Qty with the Costs, as the costs are already done in the legacy system.
Example :
Order Number ABC123 with Order QTY 200
Operation 0010 - I want to confirm the qty of 100 for this operation
Operation 0020 - I want to confirm the qty of 50 for this operation
When i'm trying to do this in CO11N its still getting costed as there is Overhead costs. Overhead costs are not available in CO11n screen.
Can you guide me how to Confirm the Operation Qty without costs.

I wanted to let you know I retook this LSMW object and following you advice, I simplified my legacy files and I was very pleased to see SAP does all the table joins for my multiple vendor master files.
Since my legacy system is another SAP system, it was very convenient using the field auto-mapping feature and letting the system pick the right field based on the technical name. My legacy data extraction was as simple as just using t-code SE16N to extract data and LSMW took care of the rest.
I do appreciate your elaboration on this case, which actually helped to have all this nailed.

Hi Prasad,
A) Did you try using filters in dashboard for Null or '0',
B) Also you can apply filter conditions for Plant and Material in dashboard, hope this should work in 4.1 SP2, either you can hardcode the filter conditions or provide them as input in realtime.
C) Alternate tools are BO Analysis (Analysis Edition for OLAP, or MS Excel), Design Studio, Webi and Crystal Reports.
D) Can consider Excel Options to increase the maximum no. of rows.

If the result set is cached, it most likely be in aggregated form vs. the base data in memory being more granular. I'm assuming the cache would avoid the need to aggregate the granular data and utlimately resulting in faster query execution. So wouldn't this free up workspace memory during query execution as the "aggregaton" work wouldn't have to be executed each time? If many users are running the same query, couldn't the workspace consumption for aggregation be large?
Also, can the OLAP cache on the BW application server also provide the same cache functionality?

We are using report CRM_MKTPL_COND_IF_R002 in our WorkFlow and its working fine.
Now we got same messages when user try to Rejects a TPM.
We have "CCNS - Reject" Bussiness Transaction on "Trade Promotion Rejected" user status.
Now standard is validating, if the trade promotion contains at least one rebate agreement in the past, if it has, it is not allowing reject the tpm.
Can We configurate this validation for agreement type?, or show warning messages instead of error messages.
