Update the sapstartsrv and restart the service.
Check these notes for additional reference.
1895278 - SUM fails in INPUT-OS-USER-PASSWORDS phase .
Also make sure the permission and ownership of sapuxuserchk are set as suggested in this SAP note - 927637 - Web service authentication in sapstartsrv as of Release 7.00
Finally repeat the phase on SUM.

The Inventory Cost will be used for all the transactions pertaining to the material. The Cost Type such as Estimated cost are just for calculation and will not be used in any financial postings. For e.g. after the cost estimation, you find that the Estimated cost is more appropriate than the current inventory cost.You could update the inventory cost from either of these cost type using the run.
Hence the cost types which are just meant for the information purpose and will not be used in financial postings. You use these cost types to derive the appropriate cost for the material and you might later update it to inventory cost.
Regarding the impact, there are two types of documents which are generated whenever you change the inventory manually or automatically.
1. Automatic Change of Material Cost
2. Manual Change of Material Cost

We have couple of issues with the extractor 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL and need input.
1. Our process orders has main operation and multiple phases for the operation. Example operation '0005' is main operation and operations 0006 to 0009 are phases of the operation 0005. Operation 0006-0009 shows operation 0005 as Superordinate Operation.
2. We noticed that the extractor 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL doesn't bring the field PVZNR 'Superordinate Operation'. What logic should be implemented to extract PVZNR in BI?

We are doing some thing similar...
1) SF input can be cal or stored. (Data is coming at Country level)
2) SF output is always stored..( Data is needed at Regional level)
3) Use copy or calculate KF ( Sum up country level data to regional level of step1) as input to SF...

I've never heard of such thing as a reimbursable order in SAP. Had to google it and it seems that this is part of the PSM solution (US Federal).
I doubt many people in the SD forum would have such specific knowledge, so you might want to post this in the Public Sector space instead.
This can happen if there are special characters in the password. Is that your case ?

I see three options:
1- Preproduction:
If you are running scheduling after your PPDS run, you can add the shifts into your work centers (only if its needed in order to increase your capacity) and preproduce by moving the planned orders in order to an earlier day. By doing this you would be eliminating GAPs.
So suppose that your capacity is 145,000 CS per week.. Suppose that after your PPDS run, your capacity utilization is 89% (130,000 / 145,000). If you see this in your planning board you will see empty slots in your planning boards.. so you can select all the orders and reschedule in order to eliminate those empty slots...
The problem is that the SNP will identify that you have overstock and will stop planning production..
2-Target days supply or safety stock:
Increase your target days supply or safety stock: this is the better option for me..
3- Forecast:
Add additional forecast. Just note that at the time this additional forecast is removed, you can have the same problem that I explained for point 1. The SNP and PPDS will stop planning production in order to reduce your inventories.

Right now, I'm not aware of a way to trap the F3 key and invoke a script as a result.
For the enter key, you can link a text field to a script button so that if the focus is on that field (e.g. you're typing into it) and you press enter the linked script button is pressed. The script button can, of course, be hidden. I don't believe you can trap the enter key in any other context.

Thanks Vijay, it is really great documentation and examples, so as I said earlier I have created the web dynpro DC and model and consumed the WSDL--Adaptive web service model (which is from middle-ware SAP PI system) and created the service groups along with the model,
and build and deploy the Web dynpro dc on to my local Web AS Java 7.3 server, now the issue is on the service group in local NW7.3 java server.
http://<host>:50000/nwa --> SOA-->Application and Scenario Communication--> Application Communication--> deployed web services it has only Consumed Service Group not the Provided Services, in other words I'm not able to configure the PI URL further to communicate with the PI web service in run time, any idea where to configure the provided services or how to enable the configuration as shown below to configure the PI URL?
Can any one please help me if this is the right way and also how to enable the configuration to configure the PI URL which will be interacting during run time.
