BPC user - not enough space on the disk

Hi

 

One of our users is facing this issue. When she logs in, she can see all the reports and input forms but if she tries to open any of them, nothing happens. It has only started happening for her this last week with no change in authorisation.

 

I asked for the EPM log. She gets the message in there:

08:49:47,437|ERROR|FilesManagement|FPMXLClient.OpenSaveServerManager.DownloadedFileFromServer|MU57034|||||1|There
is not enough space on the disk.

I remember getting this same error myself. Then, I had deleted some files from a folder on my PC, and I was back up and running. But I cannot remember what folder that was.

 

Any ideas what the solutions would be in this case?

I found that replacing the original SAP logo is the best solution.. since uploading our custom logo in the theme designer is not working..

 

this can be done by:

 

Go to (SE80 -> MIME Repository) under the path /sap/public/bc/ui5/LIBRARIES/VER/lib_version/com.sap.ui5.core/META-INF/resources/sap/ui/core/mimes/logo/

 

then replace the logo image with your custom one.

Hi Roberto,

 

We searched the fact table for 00-000 and could not find it. The user seems to have uploaded 00-000 first and processed it. However, after realizing the mistake, the user changed the column to 00_000 and processed the dimension again.

 

At present we cannot see grp_prod property with 00-000. All we see is that the grp_prod column has 00_000 values.

Kunal,

 

Those are heading properties that I would guess are determined by a rule.  You will need to check the rule to confirm that the text you want to translate is included in the rule from a global.  Then you can translate it by modifying the Globals.sv.ini.

That's a brilliant way to resolve it , appreciated!

 

Wondering, will these all graphs need to be in one report ? What if I wish to use these technique from one report to another report.

i.e., report 1 contains Pie Chart

Use 'Add element link' from Pie Chart and Connect to report 2 contains Column Graph

 

Thoughts ?

Can you post ABAP logic that can achieve this scenario:

 

Example...:

 

· IF the Amount  in  ([ACCOUNT].[8600] < 0,
THEN  calculate amount in [ACCOUNT].[CK8600DEBIT]   =  ( [ACCOUNT].[8610]+[ACCOUNT].[8640]+[ACCOUNT].[8641]),
ELSE
· IF the Amount  in  ([ACCOUNT].[8600] > 0,
THEN  calculate amount in [ACCOUNT].[CK8600CREDIT]   = ([ACCOUNT].[8610]+[ACCOUNT].[8640]+[ACCOUNT].[8641]).

Sorry, but nobody will write ABAP code instead of you... It's not a 5 minutes job!

 

The same can be also achieved by script logic...

Crystal Report Windows Forms Viewer error-Operation illegal on linked parameter

I am running some reports I created through a commercial off-the-shelf software that we have leased.  I recently made modifications to a sub report and am receiving the error mentioned above.  I have been searching on this error for at least a couple of days, reading the posts on this site and others, without finding something that sounded like it might fit my situation. I have rechecked and rechecked my sub report links but they appear to be as they always been.  The commands behind the reports all work fine.  The typical message I receive goes like this: " Error in File agr_M2000_Invoice and Application for New Nursery License {F058C3F0-A29E-4E8D-87C-23C0376D0Dc5}.rpt: Operation illegal on linked parameter."  The File that the message mentions is my report.  When I run the report from Crystal Report 2011 it runs correctly and the sub reports populate also.  The main report uses the parameter inspectionID.  The sub reports link on the same value.  The value for the parameter is passed to the report from the COTS software.  Other reports without sub reports appear to be displaying without any issue.  What could be the source of this error?  Thanks for any assistance!

GRC AC 10.1 - Rule ID Mismatch Post Upgrade

Hello

 

We just upgraded from AC 5.3 to 10.1 and are going through the process of assigning our mitigating controls to rule IDs. This process has become tedious since the rule IDs do not match between 5.3 and 10.1. As of now we are manually identifying the assigned risks and transaction codes for one rule in 5.3. We take the risk and transaction code information and look for the same match in 10.1 to find the new rule ID for the mitigating control to be assigned to. This is quite time consuming which makes us feel there must be a better way to do this. I know there is a way to upload mass user and role assignment but is there a way upload rule ID / mitigation control assignment? Can anyone recommend a good way to compare mitigating controls assigned to rule IDs when the rule IDs are different?

 

Any assistance is appreciated.

Hi Gurus,

 

Can anybody please provide me the official date of SAP support for SEM-BPS. Please provide me the link/note on this information.

I heard it is extended untill 2019, but I am not sure if there is any official new came out from SAP.
