Hi Nitisha

 

Yes you will be able to see all variance depending upon the settings in your variance variant (OKVG) and variance key.

 

Target cost versions 1/2/3 are meant for the purpose if you are interested to see your variance on different parameters (different than 0 ver).

 

In ver 0 the Control cost is based on 'Actual cost' which is compared with 'Current std Cost est' as target cost for the purpose of variance calculations.

 

In ver 1 the Control cost is again based on 'Actual cost' which is compared with 'Plan or prel cost est of order' as target cost for the purpose of variance calculations. For these variances your planning deptt may be held responsible.

 

In ver 2 the Control cost is based on 'Plan cost of order' which is compared with 'Current std cost est' as target cost for the purpose of variance calculations.

 

In ver 3 the Control cost is based on 'Actual cost of order' which is compared with 'Alternative cost est' (COst estimate based on some other costing parameters) as target cost for the purpose of variance calculations.

 

But remember you can settle/post only variance calculated with ver 0 in your FI books.

Received the below reply from SAP

 

Dear customer,
Could you please implement the newest version of RHGRENZ4 report
available from note 1642614 and 2136774? This report was completely
rewritten and the functionality has been slightly changed. The report
has a new documentation as well and the note has a document with
examples that show how the report is supposed to deal with certain
datasets.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

 

Let me implement this and update.

Hi......

 

You check whether your order have other variance category like RSUV(Resource-Usage variance), MXPV(Mixed-price variance), LSFV(Lot Size Variance), REMV(Remaining Variance) and SCRP except for PRIV, QTYV, INPV.

 

If yes, you should add other variance category to Settle Production Variances.

Hello,

 

I checked the BAPI and sadly it has no documentation.If its the correct BAPI then check below things-

 

1. Are you passing 'X' in the corresponding update structure(PRHEADERX) fields and keeping test run flag as space TESTRUN.

2.  Try calling 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' after the run of 'BAPI_PR_CREATE' BAPI.

3. Check the return table 'RETURN' and tell us the error captured in it.

 

 

Assumption:  You are successfully able to maintain profitability segment via transaction code /online mode.

Hi Jurgen,

 

Currently we are sending the Change POs to TIN system through file  (No idoc ) ie what ever POs changed on that day night job will pick based on the changes in the table EKKO & EKPO  it will create a file and place in the path and connect system will pick and send to TIN system

 

Now i want to make changes when ever we make changes in the POs while save the PO in ME22n system has to call the JOB and run (instead of send night job)

 

Could you please tell me in that case how we can wrote the FS so that abap person will make changes

IP is for local network. Don't worry for that.

 

I make work around for the problem by creating one user credential for both SAP and SMP systems. But, it's not logical as I need any user could consume the service by entering his SAP credential. That's why I used Anonymous but actually did not achieve my requirement.

 

Now what I need from SMP and could not find how to achieve it is as follow:

 

1- Create application with Odata service link from Netweaver gateway.

2- Make anyone with any device could consume the service through the SMP using his SAP credentials.

3- Monitor the usage of that application through the platform.

 

Could SMP2.3 achieve those goals?

Standard report for Functional location Characteristics

Hi Experts

     In our project, for PM module, we're extensively using the classification for Tech. Object (specially for Functional location, which is having approx. 10 Characteristics).

I'm looking for a standard SAP report which can provide me the list of FL and respective characteristic values for that, so that the user can filter the list of Orders (against FL) based on selected characteristic values. Currently, in IW39, its not possible to achieve it.

 

please help to understand if any standard solution is available for this.

Hi,

 

You can try the subquery option.

 

write select as below -

 

select key_field1 key_field2 key_filed3 max(date) max(time) field4 from <table name>

into corresponding fields of table <tablename>

where key_field1 in ( select key_field1  where key_field1 in s_key_field1)

and     key_field2 in ( select key_field2  where key_field1 in s_key_field2).

 

 

Assumptions : Only one unique combination of key_field1 and key_field2 will exist as shown by your data sample.

Also i have denoted the input values via select options s_key_field1 and s_key_field2. The aggregation function works with Date and Time type fields.

While loop never stop running

Hi,

Can some please help me out with a while loop.

I have a job where I used the wait_for_file function to detect if a file exist and how many, then use a while loop to loop through the number of files to stage each and every single file until done.  Here is what my while loop looks like:

My problem is my job never stops, keeps running until I have to kill it manually.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hello JK,

 

Use Tcode IL05, IE05 for F/Locn and Equipments respectively. Give Class Type and Class in the Selection screen. and in the ALV output go to Settings > Show/Hide  classification. The Characteristics and values are added to the Report. See this picture (IE05 ALV).

This is true for IL05 also (Functional Location).

Hi Gurus,

 

We have one requirement whenever make any changes in the PO through Me22n it has to send the changes to TIN system immediately at present we have one Job it will run daily  and send to TIN system
