welcome in the Scripting Language forum.
As I understand you correct, you want to use SAP GUI Scripting inside an RFC module. This means, you want to control the frontend server via SAP GUI Scripting in an executed RFC backend module.
Mhm, in my opinion tt is not really possible and not really recommended to use SAP GUI Scripting in RFC calls.
RFC (Remorte Function Call) is designed as a machine to machine (M2M) interface. So it is possible to use it without any UI. So you must check at first in the RFC the using of an UI, otherwise the module could have problems.
The using of the SAP GUI Scripting control in the backend server is generally forbidden in the SAP GUI for Windows security options. so you must disable the standard SAP Logon security options, if you want to use it directly.
In my opinion is it from the architecture perspective with the separation from the front- and backend components better to renounce this scenario. You can use RFCs in SAP GUI Scripting on different ways easily, via SAP ActiveX control or via CCo (COM Connector), and you can use the results of the RFCs in your SAP GUI Script processing. It is not really necessary to mix these different components and their approaches, based on thereasons set out here.
If you really want to use SAP GUI Scripting from the ABAP backend I developed Background Light. This is a server application which allows to use COM libraries with ABAP background processes and without the SAP GUI for Windows. You can find more Information here.

As a reply I'd ask why 40, why not 50. We'll get to know only when we reach to those levels where system stops. So far no-one would have ever tried such a hierarchy levels.
Just try this way in dev server: Keep on putting 40 differentFunctional locations one under another in sequence, irrespective of their edit mask sequence. (This can be done by specifying previous F/Locn in the Functional Location field of the Structure tab). And see where system stops you.

Schedule Webi to 25000+ Emails
Hi All,
We have the following requirement, i hope to get some advice on it from SAP experts
- We want to schedule a web intelligence report for daily basis through emails across 2000+ users.
- Is it possible to send it like a HTML page, not as an attachment(PDF,Excel).?
- Is it possible that all users can see the results even if there users doesn't exist on BO server, specially considering in mind that we have limited license.?
- What other way is possible to schedule such requirement for daily basis, where we need to send like a status of employees availability through out the company ?
- In-case it's not possible in BO, do anyone knows a scenario where we have highly format/graphical status report to schedule for daily basis throughout the company.

What SAP allow on BW PRD directly?

Normally we are developed our solution on BW DEV. then transport to QA then transport to PRD.
After go live I saw that different BW user do different things / task directly on BW PRD rather then DEV->QA->PRD.
Is there any standard by SAP I mean any Note or web link which mentioned What SAP allows on BW PRD directly?
Following task I saw that users do on BW PRD directly:
1) Develop BEx queries and workbooks.
2) Add field(s) on DataSource
3) Change transformation rules
4) Edit Standard table entries e.g. ROOSFIELDS, ROOSOURCE, RSRREPDIR etc.
5) Creating Process Chains

Adobe PDF file store in Windows server - Not in SAP Application Server
Dear All,
We have generated one report using Adobe form having sales details. Our report is a non interactive type. Our requirement is that we want to save PDF file (report) generated through Adobe in a window server, not in SAP application server. That window server is accessible from our SAP server. We want to save the PDF file in background process while generating the PDF file. That’s mean we do not want to display preview of the PDF and also not to store the PDF in user own PC.
After search in the forum, we come to know that it is possible to store PDF in another server through FTP after store the PDF file in SAP application server. But we are looking for a solution in which as soon as the PDF will generate, it should be store in another windows network server as path stated in our ABAP program or setting the path in some configuration table or something similar to it.

Re: How to display content of query filter in WEBI Report
Hi,
The logic behind having the filter is: If the user doesn't enter start/end dates in the prompt,
following query will get executed, which will choose the 1st day of the current month as Start date and yesterday's date as end date.
For ex. If I run the report today, start date will be 1st Aug and End date will be 16th Aug.
Is there a way to get these dates using this filter only, without creating any more objects.
Some function like "UserResponse" which will return dates produced by the filter query itself.
