Re: Steps to Configure Dashboard in SOLMAN 7.1
Hi Krishnan,
Have you fixed this issue and configured the dashboard in solution manager 7.1?
I'm in need of your help if you have done. Please revert asap.

Re: Empty File handling and raise alert.
If you handle this condition check in receiver determination and select the radio button for throw exception then you'll get an error message as " no receiver found" and hence your alert email will contain the same.
I don't think you'll not get the error text as(alert) as zero kb file.
If you would like to get that then you can define another inbound interface(file- mail) and execute it when the file size is 0. You can handle the mail content in the mapping and ofcourse this is indipendent of your alerting part.
Re: PR Release strategy
Did you assigned table name: CEBAN and field Name:BANFN in CT04 characteristic-additional data.
Kindy check it.

Re: GRC AC 10 SP13 - workflow not routing to multiple role owners
Hi Stacey
If DEV is working and PRD is not have you gone through and compared both and ensure latest MSMP configuration in PRD has been activated?
Also, is the approver COCHGG00 also the Role Owner?
Are you able to show you MSMP configuration? It's makes sense to analyse the log in the context of your configuration. E.g. does the Z_ADDTNL_ACCESS_PATH path have two stages: Manager and Role Owner of which there is a routing rule on the Manager approval to go to the NO_ROLE_OWNER path where the business role has no role owner?

Re: Password notification in SAP ARM
Hi Muthu,
Are you maintaining password under System details tab manually while creating access request?
If the password is not maintained under the System Details Tab, %PROVISIONING% in notification GRAC_AR_CLOSE should contain all the information for the User.

Sai

Re: Changes to existing Reports,Dictionary objects when we migrate DataBase to SAP HANA
Dear Sandeep Rajanala,
In general the existing ABAP code(reports, classes, module pool programs, function modules etc) runs on SAP HANA as before and the existing dictionary objects like tables, views, DDIC types and structures continues to exist and work as before after migration.
However if the existing ABAP Code relies on the technical specifics of the old database , ABAP Code changes might be necessary(which is the case for any database migration ).
For example,
- Your ABAP code uses a feature that is specific to the old database and not in the SQL standard and therefore not in Open SQL(consumed via Native SQL using EXEC SQL or ADBC interface)
- You have ABAP code that relies on unspecified undocumented implementation behaviour of the old database
the above cases may need minor code changes in ABAP during HANA migration inorder to ensure that your ABAP Code runs with functional correctness after migration.
The SAP note 1785057 gives guidelines on migrating the existing ABAP Custom Code for HANA.
Additionally we have several code inspector checks to find the ABAP code that requires changes and you can find details about these check in SAP note 1912445.
In addition you can find here an elaborate guide for transitioning custom ABAP code to HANA here which has a dedicated section on required and recommended adaptations during custom code migration.
You can also find the recording of the SAP Teched 2013 hands on which focuses completely on ABAP Custom Code migration aspect for HANA here
Hope this answers your question and gives you some pointers how you could prepare for the ABAP code transition for HANA.
Please revert back if you have further question.
Best Regards
Sundar.

Re: Planned order from APO to R/3
Hi Ram,
The number range settings which we maintain in OMI2 is for planned orders which are created by MRP run. But in my case, the MRP will be executed in APO. So i feel that i need NOT to maintain number range in OMI2. I feel i need to maintain number range in OMI3 (manually created planned orders).
My question is:
In OMI3, should i maintain the number range as "External or Internal"? The number range which i maintain in OMI3 should be same as which i have maintained in APO number range?
Thanks
Re: how to check the information in a backup device?
A disk dump device can only contain a single dump at a time.
Tape devices can contain multiple dumps.
LOAD DATABASE WITH HEADERONLY would probably be the first thing to try to get information about what is in the file. (see Commands Reference Guide:load database) It won't give you anything for a dump device created using the dump database to "compress::<filename>" method though.
I'm not sure what it would give you if run on an incremental dump file.
